The Garden of Vigliano is a peasant house , the walls of which oozes a feeling of harmony and serenity during the day , in fact , it is not difficult to see Peppino , a true master in the art of terracotta nativity scene and tuff , and is intent on shaping shepherds , things seem plausible to people in the flesh . There are few guest rooms ( located inside the large building that once functioned as a watchtower ), but this is an advantage because you can get more in relationship with the family and the surrounding environment. The Garden is not far from town known throughout the world for their beauty as Positano, Amalfi and Sorrento , definitely worth a visit . Even within the coast you can make interesting excursions : in fact , not far from Vigliano , is Villa Rossi with the church dedicated to Our Lady of Charity painted by Guido Reni, who lived between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries , and also known to be the place where the English Admiral Hudson Lowe, after the battle of Capri , surrendered to Joachim Murat , King of Naples from 1808 to 1815 .

We were on the Local Living Italy: Sorrento tour in late September/early October via G Adventures. We had high expectations and we were anxious to meet our fellow travelers and CEO, Giuseppe Fedele, and to arrive at the lemon farm/hotel. We were not disappointed. The venue, room, meals from local, organic food, and warm, hard working (to please and keep things running) hosts/family at the Agriturismo Il Giardino di Vigliano lemon farm/hotel were fantastic! We especially enjoyed the tour of the farm, the limoncello and mozzarella making demo, and pizza making class! We loved our entire experience in Massa Lubrense. Grazie! Bravo! Bill and Lori

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely and relaxing stay. The property has gorgeous views overlooking the coastline. The family who run the farm/accommodation were lovely and welcoming and we had homemade dinner there cooked with ingredients sourced from the farm - it was delicious. Did I mention the limoncello - so delicious I bought a few bottles for myself and also for gifts. It's a lovely walk to the beach (if you don't mind the steps on the way back) and there is a local bus that also takes you 10 minutes away to Sorrento. It was a beautiful stay for us I would highly recommend to go slightly off the beaten track and experience something other than the usual hotels. Thank you to all the family and staff who looked after us.

Stayed here for 5 nights. nice property with fantastic views of the region! the property is very clean and well maintained. the location is off the beaten path, therefore if you do not have your own vehicle be prepared to do logistics for your ins and outs. the rooms are good and clean: daily maid service is on point. the air con was loyal and kept the room cool. the food was simply to die for: everything was delish and well prepared, which includes the local wine that they carry. the wifi is on the slow side (if you are one that needs its wifi, you may not be satisfied on that front). had a tour of the agroturismo and a limencelo demonstration: good little education session and a better appreciation of it now. their limencelo and the crema are amazing and you can

My review is based on our experiences of other Agriturismo accommodation we have stayed at in Italy versus this accommodation. Luigi's family and staff were excellent and always had a smile or a buongiorno. On one of our night's the weather turned bad and we asked at short notice to eat at the farm, it was no problem and we joined a group who were already booked into to eat - there was no menu but that made the dinner even better as part of the fun was to guess what our next course would be - all beautiful and tasty. Everyone eats at the same time, including the family, so you really feel you are part of the family. The farm is surrounded by lemon and other fruit trees with a small number of farm animals. The atmosphere is relaxed. The farm specializes in groups, who use the

I was fortunate enough to spend 2 weeks at Il Giardino di Vigliano in the month of May, 2018. For one week of the visit, I was teaching a group of Canadian art students gathering there for a full Italian experience. I have been to Italy 11 times, always spectacular and this was no exception. What I loved most about this farm was how authentic it is and all family run. There is plenty of space and beauty to explore on the property and also sit and paint/draw. Luigi and his family were so accommodating and gracious- helping us arrange excursions was a pleasure with them. There is a bus on the main road which is a 5 minute walk from the main house. The bus goes into Sorrento and only takes 5-10 minutes for those wanting to explore the lovely village of Sorrento. Boats

We spent a lovely week at Giardino di Vigliano in November. The property is quaint, located at the end of a steep dirtroad. Everytime we got back, I enjoyed walking under a tunnel of lemon trees laden with fruit. We were lucky to get the Capri room with a fantastic view over the umbrella pine tree and towards Capri Island. The room is huge, with a king size bed, very quiet, with a fantastic terrace with deckchairs and a table with 2 chairs, a kitchenette, a sofa and a nice sized attached bathroom. As the weather was not so good, we were happy with the heating. Breakfast is buffet style, with eggs cooked to your liking. Signora Ida is always ready to help. We only had dinner once when we arrived; the owners had a family party and we had the same lovely menu which consisted of a

We came as a group to learn about the wonders of the lemons at an organic centuries old farm. Luigi showed us how to make true Lemoncello using their own fruit. They offer wonderful meals, nice lodging, cooking classes in a peaceful rural environment. A great starting point to explore Amalfi and such wonderful people running this Inn. I wish we could have stayed overnite. Get the Lemoncello ....best ever. The views are spectacular, history is fascinating, the nurturing of the lemons fascinating. The animals are great, too. Definitely a part of my return to Amalfi and Sorrento.

Fabulous people, fabulous garden, fabulous views, fabulous apartment, lovely animals. Great food, welcoming and cheerful staff. The location is excellent for exploring the beautiful but crowded Amalfi coast. Massa Lebrensa has some excellent restaurants.

I stayed here as part of a g adventures tour and it was utterly AMAZING! The setting is wonderful, a lemon farm with a fantastic view of the bay, Capri and Mt Vesuvius. The family that owns it is truly special! They go out of their way to make you feel welcome, the food is all home cooked, organic and delicious! Breakfast is great too! Really central spot for the area but without the rush the city. I didn't want to leave and I will definitely be returning!!

We stayed here with Luigi and his family as part of a G Adventure Tour. Our time here was fantastic! The people, the food, the views were incredible! It is a working organic lemon farm with the best Lemoncello. All the food is made fresh from the farm or local area. The house red and white wine were also amazing. We learned how to make pizza, mozzarella, lemoncello and truly got to unwind here! I cannot say enough about how perfect this place was. It is just outside Sorrento and does make for the perfect base to stay to explore the Amalfi Coast. The rooms are well situated and the evenings are so peaceful. We wished we stayed longer. Thank you Luigi, Valentina, Natascia & Luigi's Mom for an amazing stay in Italy!
