Right in the heart of the old town of Marsala. Celsa who runs Profumo del Sale is a vibrant & informative host who will head you in the right direction for restaurants, local sights or general history & anecdotes. Clean and well organised, private bathrooms with linen, soaps & other toiletries provided. Home baked bread & home made preserves for...

If you like being in the center of things, this is a great B&B, although parking is difficult in the narrow streets Chelsa, the hostess, is very helpful. She pointed us to the best seafood restaurant we found in all of Sicily.

We had an great time at Il Profume del Sale and we would recommend it to everyone! Celsa is an excellent host and takes very well care of her guests. The best part is the breakfast: fresh home-made bread, cakes and jams! All delicious :-) Our room was spaceous, clean and had everything we needed. The B&B is located in...

This is a clean, well-run small B and B in the heart of Marsala, near the pedestrian area of the old town. The hostess is welcoming, though over-talkative. The breakfast offers home made jams and cakes. My only real criticism is that breakfast bas very sweet, and would have benefitted from some cheese or other savory elements. Parking was free...

Thanks Martha, for the nice review, I am sorry for the breakfast, that I prepare is the typical Italian and above all organic breakfast salt is used in Northern Europe, however, on request I can prepare different dishes, such as for people who don't want gluten, thanks again for visiting Celsa Carissimi

Celsa was very helpful before and during my visit. I came by train so it's quite easy to get to just 1km along the main street. The B&B is in a traditional building but the bedroom and bathroom were both modernized and clean. The breakfast was very good with homemade bread and jam and freshly brewed coffee. And the bath...

Excellent location in front of Cathedral. Great advice on restaurants, things to do and see. Plentiful, varied breakfast, with several homemade selections. Spacious room with snacks and bottled water.

Beautiful B&B, run by the very knowledgeable, Celsa (who speaks excellent English). It's just off one of the main squares in Marsala so very central. This means there's a little bit of noise on a night, but nothing that would disturb sleep. We went in Oct, which is their winter (even though it was 30 degrees!) so parking wasn't a...

This is the place. Celsa is the queen of Marsala and Il Profumo del Sale is the place for your Marsala holiday. You can't get better marmelade on your home baked breakfast-bread and you can't get a better location. 25 meters from the main square. Nice, clean and perfect in any sense. And it's a bargain! And Celsa knows the...

Celsa is a lovely lady who will give you the low down on what to see and where to go to eat. The B & B is very centrally located which is great for exploring the main part of the town, though due to this parking is not easy and you will have to look for parking space, best to...

thanks for the nice words, and for the advice, but I prefer to keep prices low, rather than changing the room every day, and this even for a discourse of ecology. you asked me ham for breakfast and I will be satisfied, but I remain faithful to my idea of Italian breakfast: warm bread, butter, marmalade and jam and a...
