Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hotel discovered almost by chance and given the reviews we decided to book our holidays.
Excellent hotel close to the sea and a few steps from the center and all kinds of bars.
We were given a room with sea view, which was cleaned and cleaned every day.
We chose a Half Inn and every day we ate really well, with a choice between sea and land always different.
In the morning a good coffee prepared at the bar and croissants were waiting for us at the table.
Every day the hotel allows its guests to request a bottle of cold water, something proposed by very few others.
Upon our arrival the Owner (super nice person) invited us to leave the car in the hotel parking lot not far away; fenced parking and in the shade of a pine forest.
I conclude with a welcome thank you to all for the wonderful holiday!

Classic hotel for summer holidays, located in the center of the beautiful Marina di Massa, a few meters from the sea.
In its simplicity, the hotel has everything and is clean.
It is 'family run' and this means that the staff is very attentive and kind.
The restaurant is super; Both the fish and the meat were excellent and the portions were very generous.

Hotel well located in the immediate vicinity of Piazza Betti (and therefore easily reachable by buses L60, 61 and 62 from Massa Centro station). I stayed in a single room, typically just a few square meters; essential furnishings, nothing is missing, it is useful to have adjustable shutters that become "dark", bathroom with window ok (except for the lack of one of the 4 plugs under the toilet seat, see also photo). The soundproofing between the rooms and with the common areas could be improved. Pay attention to the fact that some rooms are located on the "mezzanines" and therefore you have to climb half a flight of stairs (possibly downhill). I really appreciated breakfast and dinner even more (I was on half board) both for variety and for quality and abundance. Prices consistent with the above. Careful and discreet service, Mr. Maurizio certainly knows what he's doing and the staff follows suit.

I stayed many times in this hotel for business reasons. Great location, next to Piazza Betti (one of the main squares of Marina di Massa, as well as the terminus of various buses) and very close to the sea. Single rooms and double rooms for single use cozy and equipped with everything you need. Single rooms a bit small, but functional. The breakfast was very good. Top dinner, quality and abundant, with buffet appetizer, various choices for first and second courses, water and dessert. Maurizio and Elena always available and kind, made me feel at home. I will definitely be back.

Convinced by the reviews we booked here but unfortunately we were disappointed by the cuisine... in fact we wanted to stay another night but we didn't want to spend money unnecessarily... poor food not like a hotel!!!
However, we must say that the staff is very kind, helpful and efficient and the rooms are spacious, very clean and modern!
Too bad about the food!

Smart, clean and welcoming hotel a block back from the seafront. No problem with our dog - not even a supplement. Receptionist spoke good English. We hadn't booked and walked in around eight at night. Would stay again. Decent shower room and a comfortable, large bed.

We spent five nights here this year and we couldn't have been more satisfied. The rooms are a bit small, but that is the only thing negative I could say about the place. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We were always met with a smile and an answer or solution to a minor problem.
The food was very good and plentiful. We spent a lot of time in the garden socializing and playing cards. It was fun connecting with the other guests who were almost all Italian.
If you want to experience a typical Italian beach vacation, this is the place to do it.

We stayed there last spring. I am vegetarian but their menu appeared to offer possible meals. As it was our last night in Italy, we opted for a pizza at nearby la Caretta on the sea-front - I don't know what they offer for vegans but it was a great place to eat. Hope you have a good stay.
