We travelled to Malcesine for a wedding and couldn't have got luckier with this hotel. Although the rooms are basic, (clean and comfortable) there are many positives. The hotel is in the heart of the village, close to the castle, the lake and many restaurants. The hotel itself has a restaurant attached, which serves delicious meals at a reasonable price....

The room itself was nice since we had room 0001 which had a nice and spacious balcony. Without this we would have felt cramped since there is a bunk bed for the kids right next to the main bed. The breakfast was not really worth mentioning - it was the worst we had on our holiday, but the restaurant food...

we stayed at hotel alpino from 25 july until 4 august. there were 4 adults in our party ranging in age from 72 to 42! the hotel is excellent, spotlessly clean and nothing is too much trouble for the staff or owners who work extremely hard

This hotel is in a central position close to the harbour and shops. Excellent value for money with more than adequate and comfortable rooms and bathroom. The staff were outstanding and could not do enough for you - this is without being obsequious, just very friendly and genuinely committed to the customer . We ate in the restaurant, a busy...

Great location right in town centre. Parking plentiful (and private if choose the 150m away option). Hotel is a little tired. Breakfast was simple and food not replenished 30 mins before closing. Surly, unhelpful and blunt staff serving (must have had a bad night!).

I have used the hotel restaurant for many years during the course of my business when I have visited Malcesine. I can highly recommend the food, staff and service and the prices are good too. Recently due to a change in my mindset, I decided to stay at different hotels and guest houses in 2016 whilst away on business so...

Travelled to Malcesine over May half term to attend a family wedding. We wanted something central and close to the wedding venues. What a beautiful town. Vibrant and colourful yet traditional and relaxing. We were greeted by our lovely hotel manager who very quickly checked us in and showed us our triple room on the 2nd floor, It was a...

I visited Malcesine, Lake Garda, Italy, in order to attend a friend's wedding at the ancient Castle there. On the map it looked quite a small village with other villages quite a distance away in both directions. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how much there was to do in Malcesine. The hotel proved to be an excellent choice, having...

A very cosy little place to stay whilst in Malcesine. Rooms are small but very clean and nicely decorated. The hosts are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. This hotel is ideally situated right in the middle of the town.

The Alpino Hotel is a small 2 star hotel right in the heart of Malcesine. Everything is right on your door step pubs, restaurants, shops and the ferry. The hotel is also very handy for the bus to Riva and Verona, which practically stops outside the hotel. I was in a single room which was spotlessly clean and looked like...
