We booked this hotel by pure chance - all bar my husband were novice skiers. The kids took to it instantly, let's say I'll need a few (ahem lots) more lessons. I was a bit sceptical when we arrived as we were handed a photocopied menu to chose that nights dinner - while all other diners were having a la...

My most favourite hotel in Livigno, 50m to Caroselo (by lift DOSS), skibus stop just in front of hotel, so Motolino access is also easy, about 200-300m to crosscountry ski tracks - always ready for skating and/or clasic. Very good breakfast and dinner in famous La Pioda restaurant.

It is a nice and cosy hotel with a good restaurant and good food and good wines. The beds are big and sleep well. The beds are of special foam, you need to get used to it. Directly based to skilift, so that is very good! Nice and polite staff.

As many other reviews have said this is a very nice Hotel. Good, helpful, booking process, easy check in and a good sized comfort room. Although near reception it was very quiet. Spotlessly clean every day. Excellent location for Doss button draglift and an excellent nursery school for our Granddaughter. Staff very friendly.

Excellent hotel, great location, we had 3 kids, 2 adults and 2 rooms. Most enjoyable week, half board and food was fantastic. Hotel was clean with very friendly staff and ski to door from the bunny slopes at the rear. Access to the mountain top 3000m was easy with only a short (20m) walk from the open air eating area...

We had a great time in Hotel Astra. Location is quite good, near the Carsello 3000 gondola. At the end of the day you can ski directly to the hotel. Employees were very nice and helpful, always with a smile. Breakfasts were good and plentiful. Wi-fi worked well (also in the rooms) and was free. A visit in the sauna...

We knew the room was small, since we booked the room under the roof, but that room was so tiny that we could not even dress both in the same room. No place for luggage, of course It was like Harry Potter's understairs. Rather being romantic, we didn't enjoy it because we could hear any rumor from the small room...

A lovely small hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Little problems soon sorted out. We stayed on the first floor which had a very good wi fi connection. The room also had a jacuzzi bath - wonderful after a days skiing! The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was usual continental style, lovely bread. I would recommend...
