Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever booked in Italy. Extremly friendly, cozy place. Home made cakes and bread by Marta is definitely best breakfast in Italy ever. Rooms are big, very clean and you feel immediately like home. I must recommend this unique hotel to everyone who wants to enjoy Versilia

A delightful boutique-style hotel. Very tastefully decorated, super attention to detail and extremely clean. Staff (and owners) are very helpful, courteous and always welcome you with a smile. Wonderful gluten-free restaurant with excellent breakfast, plus the option of a high quality evening meal. Great location for the beach and the main promenade. Free bike hire so you can take advantage of the nice seafront cycle paths. Parking in the street was easy on weekdays (early June) but quite tricky at weekends. Lovely reception and garden area - very relaxing holiday overall. Hope to return!!

Small and cosy without any big-hotel-mainstream vibe. Here you’ll find peace and quite. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Fantastic breakfast and eating dinner at the small restaurant at the hotel is a treat! Focus on recycling, environment and organic food.

We had a wonderful three days staying at Petit Hotel. The hotel room was lovely and clean. It had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and home made options. A really good location close to the beach and they were kind enough to lend us a couple of bicycles.

Small, cozy hotel. Very friendly staff, delicious cuisine. Very well located, nearby everything, beaches, bars/restaurants, bus stops.
The room was definitely better than the typical Italian 3-star standard.
Kudos to owners, Alberto and Marta for making this place such nice.

In 2010 we stayed in the 5star Grand Hotel Principe in Viareggio, but this 'petit' hotel is really fantastic:

- brand new
- very tranquil
- lovely terrace / garden to relax
- family owned, very sympathetic owners
- Also running a small and pleasant restaurant, eating outside or inside
- very big and modern room

Everything you are looking.

From a very critical travellor.
Find out yourself.

Super Place.

This family owned hotel is located close to the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is of high quality and wide variety. The dinners in the hotel (cooked by the owners themselves) and its wine choices were amazing. Everything was very clean and stylish. We felt very welcome and recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a relaxing holiday. We never had any problems with car parking. We will come back definitely.

The hotels like this one is always remind me that small cousy family hotel is so much better than any other big hotel of any chain. Almost family warm welcoming of the owners (and their help in many questions) were one of the best experiences that we met in the hotels before. If we ever get back to Camaiore again - we will chose Petit hotel with no doubt. They charmed us. So far we just recommend it for any kind of stay - with family, friends, couple or business. They simply perfect for everyone.

In regards to our stay - Cannot say anything negative. Calm, peaceful, quite and enjoyable. Absolutely new hotel, cleaning of the room was always perfect, shower is fantastic (like for my friend that's the main thing in the hotel room ;-) ), stuff is friendly and in the end of our stay we even been transferred to Viareggio with our baggage just for thank you ;-) Help in time for two young girls. Chose it and enjoy your stay!

Hi Carolyn, thank you very much, we have a double single use available; I can send you an email with more details. To reach Cinque Terre you can get a train from Viareggio to La Spezia (50' or 35') and then from La Spezia to Cinque Terre (10' with the special train that stops every village) I'm at your disposal Best Regards, Alberto

Hi Susan, there are many resort/club and all very nice and some public spaces on beach (end of may isn't high season so there are not so crowded). We recommend to use bikes to move (more than 20km bike path by the see) and discover Versilia. I'll be glad to give you even more info, please send us an email. Kind Regards Alberto
