We had a really good time at the Florida hotel and for this I want to write a very positive review. The hotel is expensive, it is true, but considering that it is located in Lerici where prices are high, and considering what it offers I think it really has a great value for money. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at this hotel and would recommend it. The location is midway between Lerici and San Terenzo so 10-15 minutes walk to either of these along the seafront. There is paid parking just opposite or in the public car park nearby and the staff are extremely helpful. There is an efficient lift and the rooms are light, airy and beautifully clean with comfortable beds and bathrooms. We also had a balcony overloking the beach in this picture-perfect spot. Breakfast is really good and has a wide range of options including fresh fruit and great coffee (from the bar not a machine). The hotel has comfortable seating in the lobby and outside areas and we found the environment very relaxing, with the beach just across the road. Both San Terenzo and Lerici are interesting places to visit, each with its own different atmosphere, and have some excellent restaurants at all prices. We will certainly try to go back to the Hotel Florida in future as we had a wonderful holiday here.

Hotel with a splendid view of the Gulf of Lerici, resting while listening to the sound of the sea is a delight. Excellent welcome from the staff, rooms not very large but clean. Excellent breakfast overall, cakes could be improved.
Given the location, the center of the village can be reached on foot, as can the nearby hamlet of San Terenzo.

We stayed in this hotel for a weekend with my partner and I must say that we really enjoyed our stay. Small rooms but equipped with everything you need. Balcony with panoramic sea view. Sweet and savory breakfast really varied and plentiful. Efficient staff. Parking in front of the hotel for 7 euros or in a closed garage for 15 euros per day. Just some advice for the future, I would have put a coffee machine and a kettle for tea or herbal teas. The shower tray is a little slippery.

Customer care, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff come first! Beautiful experience in this very nice hotel with a beautiful sea view from the room. All our needs have been met, even those not requested such as: I usually, for convenience, extend until the afternoon the stay in the room paying the difference. I informed the cleaning staff of my departure in the afternoon, to avoid having them redo the room, but from the lobby they said to redo it anyway ❤️(I had never happened). On the day of departure the road was blocked because of a cycling race, they told me to move the car to a nearby paid parking lot, giving me, by the way, the default daily scratcher. There are other things to tell, but I conclude by saying that I can only recommend it if you decide to go in the area! TOP

I travelled with my wife and another couple from the uk in two cars over two days and were very much looking forward to the stay in Hotel Florida Lerici which we had booked over 6 months prior. We were informed by email two hours before we were due to arrive at the hotel that they had cancelled our reservation and sold it to another guest. The agreement we had through our booking.com agreement was to pay at the property, i had also informed them that we were travelling by car, and told them that we were not going to reach the hotel till after 6pm. Ramona was the lady we had correspondence with before the stay in regards to car parking etc, and it was Ramona who cancelled the booking. She claimed she had tried to charge the rooms on the credit card details she had (even thought the agreement was to pay on arrival) , and could not because i had been issued a new card. When i spoke to Ramona once id seen cancellation email, she was totally unsympathetic with the position she had put us in, (no accommodation and trips booked) and explained there was nothing she could do as the hotel was full. I then had to spend an hour frantically looking for an alternative property that had rooms to book, this after nearly a 1000 miles driving in baking heat. I did receive a call from the reception Manager while en route to different hotel, offering an apology and help finding alternative accommodation, both of which were pretty useless under the circumstances. A crappy start to out holiday 100% caused by Ramona and Hotel Florida Lerici.

Good afternoon, I'm Ramona and I'm writing to you in the presence of our Director. I am surprised by your review because reviews are usually written by people who have stayed at the property and I cannot understand how you could evaluate the cleanliness of the structure by assigning only one dot since you have not even seen it ... but in any case, I would like to clarify some small details of the story told above. Our structure provides for payment at the end of the stay and this is correct but a couple of days before the date of arrival a pre-authorization of the first night of the stay is made in order to verify the validity of the credit card provided to guarantee the reservation. . In your case, since the card was not working, we immediately tried to get in touch with you, first on the phone number, which did not work, and then we wrote you a message via Booking.com (since having made the booking through them we did not have your personal email) but also to this message we did not receive any response and at that point we communicated to Booking that the card was not valid and in this case Booking directly takes care to contact the customer to whom it is given the possibility of providing a new credit card within 24 hours following the notification but also in this case we have not received any response, much less a new credit card to guarantee the reservation. Everything really fantastic, thank you. The hotel overlooks the sea in the splendid town of Lerici, just cross the road and you are on the beach. The hotel is spotless, the rooms all have sea views. The owners and staff are extremely courteous and helpful, they supported us with various requests and especially with our little girl, among other things giving us the opportunity to heat baby food and use the high chairs even outside breakfast hours. Super recommended hotel, both for couples and families.

The Hotel Florida is located in a strategic position, halfway between the center of Lerici and the hamlet of S. Terenzo, so the walk, wide and panoramic, allows you to embrace the Gulf with the view. The structure is extremely comfortable, from the balcony of our room you could see the Castle and you could feel - sometimes - even the backwash, but acoustically it is well insulated. Hearty and varied breakfast, even in the savory, so with particular attention to foreign guests. The Hotel has an agreement with a bathing establishment, therefore it is possible to book an umbrella. Staff always friendly and generous with information and advice. If I return to the area I will not hesitate to contact the Hotel Florida!
