Torre del Parco is a medieval fortress dated back in the 15th century and located in the heart of Lecce, just a few steps away from the historic city centre and a few kilometres away from the most dreamy beaches of the Salento coast. The historic hotel is located inside the ancient monastery which was built in the 600 on the ruins of the 15th century complex composed by the Tower, the Prince's Palace, the base of the state's mint and the Court. Our luxury rooms, finely furnished with antiques but also equipped with all the modern comforts have direct access to the Relax Area where you can enjoy a regenerating massage from our qualified staff. Our rich sweet and savoury breakfast buffet and our expert staff wishes you good morning with fruits, pastries, homemade cakes, jam, fresh fruit juices, hot bread with salami and cheese, omelettes and typical products from Salento like the famous "Pasticciotto" and "Cornetto from Lecce". Our breakfast also includes live cooking preparations with fresh products according to your taste and preference. Gluten-free products are also available.

We thought this place was terrific. The room was stunning and huge, with it's own private outdoor seating; the breakfast was excellent and ample in a lovely setting with great service. The staff bent over backwards for us, even loaning us 2 euro when we had no coins to plug the meter for our car. This facility is an easy walk to the old city center, and we actually liked staying on the outskirts of the "madness". We saw a review here where someone complained about no pool and no parking. Frankly, that's silly -- almost no hotels in Italy have parking, and this was super easy street parking, right out front. As to no pool, well, this is a castle, and they can't make such modifications to the property. And really, the ocean, in a very stunning landscape, is 15 minutes away -- who would spend their time at a hotel pool? This place was great and we highly recommend it.

No restaurant, bar, car parking, pool, fitness centre. One small lift shared with deliveries of furniture, food trollies, luggage etc. Ridiculous wardrobe/cupboard with fridge, safe, kettle (fell off shelf), coffee machine (only held in place by electric cord). Hotel guests banned from the only outside sitting area (the terrace) because of private parties. Had to order drinks by telephone (no brandy by the way) but reception not always staffed. Ice ordered but after 15 minutes not arrived - had to return to reception to remind. Access gates locked, needed to phone for opening, but reception not staffed.Inconsistent pricing: different prices for consecutive nights. Cobwebs in light fittings. Etc. etc. Informed owner/manager in advance what would be in this report. Disappointed but not surprised no response.

This hotel is amazing. The hotel does not have many rooms as it is primarily a function venue, but what rooms it has are beautiful. We had a deluxe room that even had a hot tub in it! It had a 4 poster bed, and great air conditioning. There is limited parking at the hotel, but there is parking just round the corner that cost 2 euros a day, which was great. The city centre is about 10/15 minutes walk, so you don’t really need your car, unless you are going off for the day. Breakfast was in a lovely courtyard , with a chef to cook you eggs and bacon, and the pastries were to die for! The lady receptionist was very helpful and even lent us the euros for parking as we had no change. She also has some great recommendations for lunch/ dinner. We were allowed to explore the whole building, and go into the tower at our leisure. There was a birthday party on the terrace on one of the evenings, but it did not disturb us at all. Definitely would go back there again.

This is a really beautiful hotel very close to the old town in Lecce. The hotel, rooms and grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The hotel dates from the 15th century and you can feel the history. The staff were all very kind, caring, professional and helpful. Nothing was too big or small for them to do. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

688407252 We stayed here in July 2019 and took a Grand Deluxe room. The room was delightful and the huge 'plunge pool' style jacuzzi was so comforting after a day spent walking in the extreme heat that Italy was experiencing during our stay. The room was large, had a four poster bed and provided all the usual amenities like mini bar, large screen tv with numerous Sky chanels and choices, tea and coffee making facilities, bath robes, safe etc. and a large double walk in shower. Pictures on their web site are accurate. The only downside from our point of view was the lack of windows that could be opened wide but this did not pose a problem as the heat outside was intense and the air conditioning really came into its own. The extra cost for this room is, in our opinion, well worth it. However, if you do not like walking too much then the 15 minute or so walk to reach the walls of the old town could be a problem as taking a car would not be advisiable, parking really only suitable for small cars and those used to negotiating the charming but small and difficult streets within the city centre. Breakfast was good with omelettes cooked on request and freshly squeezed orange juice, served in a large open area, again quite delightful. This 15th century venue has obviously been renovated with functions and events in mind but we used the gardens and the open and furnished bridge across to the tower itself for an evening aperitif, sadly the venue does not have a restaurant. The staff were very helpful and we would recommend staying for somewhere very different from the norm. Could however be a little difficult for wheel chair users in some areas. One thing to mention is that the hotel gave us the web address of the air shuttle www as an option to reach them from Brindisi airport. In our opinion, well worth the €20 first passenger and €15 second passenger etc per trip, cheaper than a taxi and avoiding an onerous public transport trip. They do reserve the option of using their vehicles for up to 8 passengers. They meet you at the airport with signage and collect you from your hotel for the return journey. Only thing they are not too good at letting you know the time of return collection unless you specifically ask. No problem just don't know why they can't automatically tell you.
