Hotel Zio has been my home for 2 months due to a professional training in Imola. I've been changing four rooms during this period and slept comfortably in all of them, though I find the top floor ones are the cutest (attic-like). Personnell always very friendly and kind since the first day I arrived. City center, supermarket, pharmacy etc. all...

We booked Hotel Zio last minute due to its location. It's the American equivalent of a much cleaner Comfort Inn. The women at the front desk were helpful and happy. Our room was standard European size small which was fine because we were only staying a night. The bathroom was equally as small but everything was clean and their was...

We stayed for the World Superbike weekend and wanted a hotel where we could walk to the track. We had a great experience. The hotel staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and the shower was great. The breakfast was good. Wifi worked very well. We got to discover the city of Imola while walking...

The front desk staff are so nice and wonderful! Great English, and always helpful. Hotel is in the historic center, within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Hotel is very noisy. It's an old building that reverberates quite a bit. There was a wedding party staying at the hotel the night we stayed, so they reveled quite late. Sleep...

I stayed for a few nights in this hotel, and rather enjoyed myself there. It was comfortable enough, if a bit small, and my only real complaint was that there was no elevator, and the staircase was quite steep. Thankfully, my room was right by the staircase, so I did not have to haul my abysmal amount of luggage too...

We came to Imola to visit friends who graciously put us up in hotel Zio for one night! Hotel Zio is ldeally located within walking minutes to the historic town of Imola where there are wonderful shops and restaurants. Also, the hotel provides bikes, if you prefer to bike to the town. The staff were very gracious and helped us...

my husband and myself stayed at the hotel for the world superbike weekend. The hotel is around 15 mins walk from the race track so is an ideal base. The young lady fredricka had an excellent command of English and was charming and helpful with any questions we had. There is a supermarket just across the road and the charming...

I've stayed here twice for two weeks each time since it's close to my daughter's apartment in the center of town. Within two days the staff gets to know you and your morning coffee preference. The only oddity is that the newer half of the hotel is across the street and must be accessed through a tunnel! Rooms are OK,...

Very nice hotel, staff was extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful in making sure you were comfortable. Frederica made my stay in Imola more than pleasant I will never forget how accomodating she was to me. Coming from USA and speaking very little Italian, her English was outstanding. Because of her I had an enjoyable stay in Italy and at Hotel...

I stayed in the Hotel Ziò for 2 nights in June 2012 and found the owners and staff extremely kind, helpful and professional. They were always willing to give information and advice and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

“Rooms across the street are pretty quiet. If you really need a smoke-free room, ask in advance and check out the room before committing to it. Reserve as far in advance as you can; race track events can fill the place up.”
