Everything needs to be renovated in this hotel: nothing works in the rooms (safe, do not disturb...) the beds are uncomfortable. You can hear everything that goes on in the rooms around you including above. We had to pay extra for the baby cot. The cleaning is not done properly (hairs in the shower). It was very hot in the... This hotel was stuck in the late 80's, but that is something giving him a charm. Rooms are bug and clean. Bed is good, could be a bit better. Bathroom is clean. Breakfast is very poor (I had expected more from italian cousine). Receptionists are very welcome, and believe it or not, english speaking. Overall, hotel has 80's charm, good... More

Housekeeping woke me and my partner up at 8am because are so loud. Room was quite large but you can hear the conversation of next door as the walls are so thin. Breakfast buffet is very limited on choice. Rinaldo is a key to the team as took him one order from us to know that we like cappuccino for... More

Another stop over on drive from France to Italy. This hotel was another gem! The room was of an adequate size same with the ensuite. Resturant in hotel was very nice, had dinner & breakfast there. The cost was very good & breakfast was included in the charge for room. Once again hard pillows but getting used to this!

Air Condition very bad and if you complain the reception staff is becoming angry not accepting, not believing and not offering a different room. internet was very weak not existing in the rooms only in the reception hall. breakfast is no 4 star standard for italy. as well beds are pretty hard and... We don't normally stay in 4-star hotels, so we were really looking forward to this, but it was quite disappointing. The room was very spacious and the manager was very friendly and helpful, but no information whatsoever was provided about hotel facilities, the internet often didn't work, and there was very poor lighting in the room which made it impossible... Clean and nice friendly service. From the outside it looks more fancy as it is. The rooms brings you back to the 90s. Unfortunately we didn't get to eat at the restaurant, it is on the Michelin guide. Maybe next time. The price level was fair compared others a like.

The staff were fantastic anything to help and Barbara offered to give her day off up to come and translate for us really... More

I have stayed in hotels all over the world from no stars to 6 stars and no hotel has stood out as much as the Granduca. What makes this hotel so special are the staff they are spectacular, not only do they provide an outstanding service, absolutely nothing is too much trouble, they take time and care with their guests....
