Overall this is a great hotel. We were very impressed. We found staff friendly and efficient. Rooms are immaculate. Great shower. The top floor balconies have lovely views of the lake. The turndown service in the evening is a nice touch. Pool towels in are left in the room daily. Hotel Bikes are available to use for free !! This...

Lovely Hotel set in pretty gardens. Hotel rooms were very clean, towels changed daily and pool towels were provided in a handy beach bag. Breakfast ok but a bit limited but the staff were very attentive. Restaurant was 'al a carte 'only and too fussy especially for our 2 teenage daughters so had no choice but to walk into Garda...

Another wonderful stay at this hotel, it would be difficult to find a better hotel in the area. Especially suited to adults however. As previously mention by other contributors the air con isn't really user friendly, our display didn't work and could only regulate temperature by have the fan on differing speeds. This was our 4th visit to the hotel,...

Hubby and I have just spent a week at the Villa Madrina and all in all left disappointed ...we travelled with Inghams (against our better judgement as last time we booked with them they double booked our apartment in lake como and we had to move after 5 days!) The Inghams rooms are on the ground floor and spoiled the...

I very seldom rate 5 stars. We spend a week in Rome but the highlight of our holiday was our week at this lovely hotel - it has about 30 rooms so not too big and a beautiful pool. The rooms were clean with little touches like beds turned down at night. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Stefano was...

Beautiful hotel - close to Garda - 2 or 3 mins walk. Lovely gardens and pool, accommodation very good - bedrooms and public areas. Small hotel - about 30 rooms - just the right size. Waiting staff very attentive and friendly - Stephano head waiter very good. Food and wine excellent - food varied and good quality, balanced menus for...

Just returned from a wonderful week at the Villa Madrina. This is a small very friendly boutique hotel, just 34 rooms, about 5 minutes walk from the lakeside promenade of Garda. The hotel is soooo clean and very well run by the family owners. Our room was a junior suite on the second floor with great views over the pool...

Old style service with every convenience sums up Hotel Villa Madrina. This is a delightful hotel which provides holidaymakers with everything required for a most enjoyable stay. Our room was large and comfortable. Effectively quiet airconditioning ensured a good night's sleep and we were pleased to have tea an coffee making facilities available. Staff in all areas could not have...

A lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens just a 5-10 minute leisurely walk to the centre of Garda. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Reception staff were very helpful with booking taxis and dealing with other requests. They also replied promptly to my pre holiday emails. The buffet breakfast is very good and plentiful as long as you...

Stayed in Villa Madrina recently on our first trip to Italy. Location is ideal, a very pleasant short walk to everything but at the same time far enough away from any hustle & bustle. Staff very helpful, friendly and accommodating. In particular Miro who made sure we had a breakfast on the days that we were leaving on day trips...
