We stayed in a four-person apartment, with two sofa beds in a large lounge area plus a separate double bedroom. Our apartment looked out over the car park at the rear (great to have secure parking!), which made it quiet, and being north-facing it stayed cool all day, so we didn't need to pay for air conditioning. The kitchen area...

My family and I stayed for 7 nights in August and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our apartment had 3 rooms-a separate bedroom, bathroom and pull out sofa bed in the living/kitchen area. This bed was fine as we have 2 girls but I would check if your children do not wish to share a bed! Kitchen facilities were adequate but...

Great location close to Garda shops and cafes. Rooms large and clean. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed my view from the balcony onto the street below where I could people watch although if looking for a quiet room request a rear apartment. Free Wi fi a bonus for our teenage children.

We booked this apartment at the last minute, in fact the day before through Thomson Lakes and Mountains. We based our choice on Trip Adviser reviews and were not disappointed. The apartments are large, well equipped, in a good location and are kept imaculately clean by daily maid service. The apartments have secured parking which is a big bonus in...

The apartment hotel didn't look great when we arrived with uninspiring frontage, old small lift and dark rooms. In fact the dark rooms were because of closed shutters which helped keeping the room cool. However when opening shutters the rooms, while not furnished to great standards, were nice and large and the balcony was very welcome. Temperature was in high...

We recently visited Garda from Ireland and stayed at the Doria Hotel. We found the room extremely clean and the service was excellent. The family who run the hotel went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
