Garda is a most beautiful place. We have stayed in numerous places around the lake, but this was the first time in Garda town.
The hotel is beautifully located, but so are other hotels on the lake. The Hotel all'Ancora was the poorest of all...More

End of our stay here at the Ancora. Staff are all very helpful, pleasant, great with the guests but particularly Suzanna has been fantastic as her English is probably the best to converse with if you have any questions/queries. I have a lot of food...More

The Ancora along with a few other hotels/bars/restaurants is on a pedestrianised cobbled lake front with only taxis allowed in the vicinity. There is a carpark about 800 yards from the hotel, maybe slightly more. Go as if you are driving out of Garda towards Malcestine. As you almost leave the town the carpark is down on your left. Its frequently patrolled by police and short stay. (2 hours maybe). Can't remember how many euros an hour it is. Once you reach the Ancora they will re-direct you to an underground carpark that is more long stay. Hope this helps! Tracy
