We only ate here on a day-trip to Garda town from Malcesine, and the location is great, the service friendly and fairly speedy. But the food was the worst I've ever had in Italy (still better than a lot of English food, but comparatively poor). My fritto misto was clearly frozen rather than fresh, and my wife's pizza could have...

I loved my holiday in this hotel. Yes,it is a 2 star hotel but it is spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for a good stay. The breakfast was excellent with a very good variety ( the scrambled eggs were great ) . The situation was ideal on the Promenade. One of the best things about the hotel was...

This is definitely a budget 2-star hotel, as the rooms are very basic and there aren't many amenities. That said, for the price, our overall experience was good and we have no specific complaints. The breakfast was average, but it was a nice touch to be able to enjoy it by the lake. The staff were very friendly and helpful....

I cannot praise this hotel and its staff enough. It has a perfect location overlooking the lake. Breakfast had a good choice (both hot and cold). You were able to either eat in the dining room or take a tray and sit by the lake side which we did. Choices for dinner were excellent. Half a litre of wine only...

We wanted to spend some time in early spring at the Lago di Garda, Italy, and booked a small family hotel at very affordable prices. At arrival, we were asked if we wanted to upgrade the booking, and we spent the additional small amount. So we got a nice room with a small bathroom attached, overlooking the LAGO di GARDA....

..noisy outside! Which is fine but we couldn't close the windows as the aircon didn't work. It was really hot. Then to add further drama, every time we even slightly moved in the bed it sounded as if would collapse. Possible the noisiest bed I have ever slept in. Whole Situation was terrible but hilarious in the end. The mattress...

Nice, quite comfortable stay in the Center of GARDA , in Italy. We stayed there for 2 nights and enjoyed it to the fullest. It was pre-season at the LAGO di GARDA, and the hotel is a small family operated hotel directly at the lake, in the center of GARDA. Due to the pre-season the stay was quiet, very reasonable...

Lake Garda is a wonderful holiday destination. The location of the hotel is terrific. The staff and management were very helpful throughout our three night stay. Our room had lake views but unfortunately was over the restaurant.Tended to be a little noisy with the windows open. The rooms were a little cramped but was to be expected from a hotel...

We stayed here in July 2014 and were extremely pleased with our holiday. Hotel all'Ancora is a lovely friendly place. We had a room with lake view, which was kept very clean. All of the staff are helpful and efficient, but a special mention must be made of Susanna, who helps so much with the smooth running of the hotel....
