We have just returned from a holiday in this hotel. We did not receive a warm welcome on our arrival because the flight arrived late. We were offered a meal but we had eaten on the plane, So really did not want anything, but just...More
My wife and I went there about three or four times on our recent Lago di Garda Holiday, mostly for the music of their much-improved American regular-turn entertainer... who really can sing and handle that guitar.

The Ancora along with a few other hotels/bars/restaurants is on a pedestrianised cobbled lake front with only taxis allowed in the vicinity. There is a carpark about 800 yards from the hotel, maybe slightly more. Go as if you are driving out of Garda towards Malcestine. As you almost leave the town the carpark is down on your left. Its frequently patrolled by police and short stay. (2 hours maybe). Can't remember how many euros an hour it is. Once you reach the Ancora they will re-direct you to an underground carpark that is more long stay. Hope this helps! Tracy
