We went for the final week of the ski season so the resort was slowing down but Mauro and his staff at the Hotel Galassia made our family stay really enjoyable. We were upgraded to an apartment so that we didn't get bothered by the noise of a (lovely) school who were also staying in the hotel. We loved the...

The hotel is located very near the slopes however if you are in a large group you must walk a mile in an underground tunnel to the ¨boot room¨ where you will cover yourself in mud and dust and then walk across a car park to then struggle onto the piste. The food is below average and often served in...

Great location for the slopes, rooms are ok, lots of marble spiral staircases so not ideal for carrying cases. Food is ok but don't care for vegetarians (aka fusspots) and people with allergies. Bar upstairs is ok. Rooms are connected by an underground tunnel, big meeting room is great and swimming pool, looks ok but we never used it. Also try...

I was part of a school group on a skiing holiday in Prato Nevoso over New Year and we stayed at the excellent Hotel Galassia. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them and they were always pleasant and helpful. The food was great and the bedrooms were basic but clean, warm and lots of hot water...

Just home from an excellent week skiing in Prato Nevoso. Hotel Galassia was perfectly suited for our school group of 21 students and 4 adults, located just 20m from the slopes. Rooms basic but adequate, very clean, warm, and well equipped with constant hot water. Food superb with a well thought out menu to suit 'picky' school children! Hotel staff were...

Do not go if your vegetarian, they will serve you meat continously. They will be rude to you if you are British, or maybe its just our group is very polite. Ski in ski out is not true, you have to walk half a mile through corridors, through a garage, across a carpark and when you finally get there you...
