Nice room (weird shape). Shower was a bit small, but the bathroom was well supported and modern. Nice bed. Very Clean. Small TV with limited channels. Room view was interior - not so nice. Modern. Cool interior. Cheap parking - but a bit far to walk. Good breakfast. Service was good - Italian and English.

Dear Stephen H. Thank you for being our guest. You found unusual the shape of the room because the Hotel Ferrara is not a standard hotel but a hotel in a renovated historic building having to maintain the existing spaces. Thanke You for your review. Best Regards. Antonio Meloni -Direttore-

Hotel is centraly located, perfect for walking around old city buildings, streets, small but perfect restaurant, shops. Wifi was ok, clean rooms, breakfast is super. No balcony, no parking. Stuff is friendly, free umbrellas and bikes. For every recommandations.

Ferrara is a beautiful city and this hotel is perfectly located to explore it. Right in the city centre and close everything you want to see. The castle is your next door neighbour. Breakfast was lovely and we especially liked the music playlist. The hotel has bikes for guests to use but get in there early for them. The staff...

Hotel Ferrara is in the centre of the city and convenient to everything. I spent 3 days there and saw everything. Lucrezia Borgia lived there with her third husband and was known as a good mother who was pios and endowed chuches and convents. The city is safe although there are some Africans around the railway station who demand money....

I stayed in this hotel for one night only. The room was good in its price category. The only problem was that I couldn't connect to its free wifi. The breakfast was good with reasonable items. I like its location which is very near to the castle of Ferrara.

Dear Murtoza. I'm very sorry. It's true! The system crashed due to a technical problem. We were able to restore the connection only in the next morning at 09.00. I hope that everything else was pleasant. Thanks for being our guest. Best Regards. Antonio Meloni

You pay only for the location wich is right in fron of the castle. The service and confort is that of a two star hotel not four. The room was clean. The breakfast can be improved. Ferrara is a beautiful city worth the visit.

Thanks Mr. Dirk. Our beds are all long cm 200. What is the standard length for a hotel bed in Italy. I'm sorry you have not been sufficient for your length. I hope you are satisfied the same anyway. Many greetings. Antonio Meloni

There is no bar or room service and reception is separate from the rooms. The night porter does not answer the telephone so you have to put on a coat and stroll across the public courtyard if there is a problem. No hairdryer in my room and noisy 'puffer' style heating stuck on 25 degrees - too hot for me....

After my last stay I was not very happy about the Ferrara hotel. But this time service was better. The hotel has an excellent location to feel Italy - located in the old town, just by the castle of Ferrara. Rooms are ok, but I rather like their bathrooms - they have not only bathtub but also bidet. Breakfast, unfortunately,...
