As a seasoned traveller I rate this hotel as a good old fashioned ski hotel. Great if you are going on a ski holiday as it is well placed towards the end of the pedestrianised area of Cortina. The ski bus (free if you have a ski pass and going to a lift station) is a five minute stroll downhill...

Hotel with a very good location, staff nice, the room and bathroom very bad, wi-fi not good, the breakfast very weak, this hotel needs works urgently. A place so beautiful like Cortina d'Ampezzo, must have a better hotel.

This is an old old old old hotel in desperate need to change beds, paint the room and refurbish everything. Breakfast is a catastrophe. But all honor to the staff that try hard to keep the hotels Gloria shining. It's perfect located in the center of Cortina.

Nice hotel, across the street from the cooperativo, centrally located, walking distance to the catholic church, nice size dining room for private events, there is also a separate room that can be used for cocktail hour; nice waiting area for friends and family; separate building right next door for skis and snowboards; wifi is free in the common areas no...

This is a nice hotel right in the middle of town. The location is great, the Falona ski area is a short walk behind the behind the hotel, and the store next door has wine groceries as well as clothing and other things. The rooms are older, with the twins beds right next to each other. If your sharing its...

Stayed here with a ski club from NY. Although the people in my group were rude, old yentas, with no manners, the hotel, the mountain, and the trip overall was still good. Onto the hotel...My brother-in-law and I stayed in a simple room (similar to the one pictured) with 2 single beds, which were obviously small, but fine for our...

If a hotel with virtually NO wifi & a hotel with rooms far below the quality of a Motel 6 are OK with you, then you might like this hotel. They claim 4 stars – but it is more like 2 stars. There are only two things going for this hotel: 1. The location. It is next door to a...

We had before and dinner included with our package. Th food was mediocre at best for dinner , the service was slow.. I believe that the number of guests for dinner was over welling for the amount so staff.. The noise level was very high when everyone was there for dinner, you could hardly speak with the person across the...

We had a great time at this lovely hotel. The staff is very accommodating, which makes up for the compensations that might need to be made while staying at this aging beauty. While the rooms were a bit dated, the staff kept them immaculate. Some in our group had better or larger rooms then we did but certainly they were...

Old style hotel that has not kept up with it's class. Even though it was high season it was not very booked, and the average age of the guests was quite high (60+). It felt quite deserted. Staff friendly. Set dinner too pricy and breakfast acceptable but not very good. Good location but you'll be disturbed by passers-by on the...

“If you can get a room on the street side there are great views to be had. The insulation and shutters block out any street noise and light for a good nights sleep.”
