I have only visited the Rifugio for meals and drinks after climbing in the Cinque Torri, and I haven't ever been disappointed with the quality or quantity of the marvelous food. I plan to spend a night or 2 there in the future.

During the day the seilbahn brings many daily tourists to this magnificent spot. And then, after 17hrs00, the mountain, views and superb restaurant are only for the guests... And just for the food it is worthwhile to stay. Great menu. Very good wine. And the next morning, a lucious breakfast. Recommended!

We have been visiting and eating and staying at this Rifugio for over 20 years and it just gets better and better! The family run Rifugio is quaint, clean and cozy! We have had such wonderful meals there, we will go out of our way to ski here and dine! If is available and we can stay, we definitely do....

We just had lunch there while visiting the 5 torri, and we couldn't believe the high quality of the food. We weren't expecting such an high standard, as we were used to good honest meal in other rifugio, but not gastronomy as in this one. The wine list is great: they even have some Vini Naturali, which is sadly too...

If you need a rest after a day spent on Alta via or other trek, better avoid this refuge. There are plenty within 30' walk (5torri or rifugio averau). Several reasons: 1. There is no sound isolation: you hear everyone from corridor and from balcony open for everyone. If laying on the bunk bed, you see the shoes of the...

Went with friends on a day trek to see the world famous 5 Torri, what a spectacular area !! The rifugio is located right in front of the 5 Torri with a wonderful view of the entire area. The staff and service were excellent. The local cuisine was very good and cost proportioned to the location. Would definitely reccomend for...

We don't actually stay there but we just went there for the food and enjoyed the view. Sitting outside, we were amazed again by the breathtaking scenery. The food was yam yam and yam!! And the staff was very friendly. Noticing that we were foreigners, she brought us an English menu!! Very sweet!! If we go back this year, we...

I first stayed at Rifugio Scoiattoli about 8 years ago. During our stay, my climbing partner and I had a serious accident, which resulted in him spending several days in hospital before being repatriated to the UK. Guido Lorenzi and his family and staff went way way out of their way to help us. Driving us to hospital at midnight,...

We stayed here walking the Alta Via 1. It was a good option - basic very small rooms with bunks - three bathrooms (which was not enough, always a queue). Quite limited places to dry clothes. Nice big dining room and good food; good breakfast.
