The good: the pool and the beach. Both amazing and mere minutes walk away. The bad: the bungalows are very dated - I got a bit of a shock at first - and the beds are not great. The restaurant is lifeless but there's plenty on offer for food in nearby Castiglione. Also, the 'basic' package means if you run...

From the crystal clear water of the nearby beach, to the relaxing woods all around an overall good experience, terrible wifi connection though, and sometimes the service at the restaurant was below average.

If you are looking to vacation with elderly people and screaming kids, this is the place for you. We had book there associated hotel park zibellino but was not on the beach as photos showed. We requated to be upgraded to Roccamare for $100 euro more a night to then request sea view for yet another $100 euro only to...

We were a group of five with one child staying for two weeks in one of the "villas" the resort offers. The location of the resort is excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed cooking by ourselves in the well equipped kitchens of the villa using excellent ingredients from shops from the near town Castiglione della...

Been here in the '70s and again early 2000 and back this year Nothing has changed much , which is good! Bungalows and villas reflect 1970's architectural style respecting the environmental surroundings they are situated in - they are practical and secluded enough to respect one's privacy. The beach is well kept and pleasant -pool a bit small but recently...

Just spent a relaxing and English-language tourist free week in Maremma, Tuscany by the sea. The hotel and residence is both secluded and near all services. We chose to stay in residence w/out meals and thoroughly enjoyed the freedom to recline on beach chairs, walk on the beach, eat in town or take side trip to Brunello de Montalcino for...

I was at Roccamare for a weekend with a big group of friends. Helpful staff, great location, delicious food and fantastic weather made this a very pleasant stay. I recommend rooms 201 & 202 with view to the sea. The parking is outside the resort o. The other side of the road. We would like to go there again and...

To be fair I have to say that the pine tree grove the hotel residence is located in is very nice, the beach is well organized and clean. But the overall impression is negative for a number of reasons. The hotel condition leaves much to be desired - shabby overpriced rooms, a bathroom with heavy shortage of shampoos and gels,...

Quite and relaxing structure in the pine forest. Safe for children as everything, beach included, is easily reachable by short walks and no private cars are allowed except Saturday morning. Our apartment was quite small for its high price, but comfortable. The pool has been renovated this year: now it’s like a Zen garden with real grass, fake abrasive sand...

Italian couple, stayed for two weeks with two 4-5yr old children. Had to think things over not to give this hotel a 5/5 rating (maybe next year). Maremma is a well known unspoiled part of the Tuscan sea coast. Historically, swamps, mosquitos and malaria have isolated it and centuries later kept it away from frantic real estate speculation (thank you...
