Hotel and restaurant looked fantastic on Internet and setting and historic buildings were equally impressive when we arrived. Restaurant was great - excellent meal and service. Then it all went wrong. We had asked for feather free bed linen before we arrived and we were reassured that room was feather free at check-in. When we got back to the room...

Dear Mr and Mrs Hutchings You stayed here in September 2016 last year, 6 months ago ! Not in March 2017 that is on your review. I did e mail you an apology and you replied. Why you have decided now to review I do not know. I complimented the breakfast for you and gave you a 10% discount on...

Returned again almost a year to the day from our last visit. The property is special and it a place that both my wife and I really enjoy coming back to. It is just so unique, and really is one of a kind. The place isn't a hotel, it isn't just about the perfect service or meal, nor is it...

The Abbaye between Beaune and Dijon, is 'worth a detour' to this spectacular property for the class of the Hotel and grounds, and above all for the incredible food. We came for a special 25th Silver Anniversary and were treated to some of the best food we have ever had, all with local products treated with care and ingenuity by...

Top Location , service , Ambiente The service in the lounge bar and the restaurant was perfect . The quality also great. In total a Great experience. The price is expensive but it worth for a special dinner or night I would only wish a bit of music in the restaurant . Some classical music not loud but it would...

This is only a review of the restaurant. My wife and I were on a barge cruise, and the cruise line selected the restaurant at the Abbaye for one of the dinners, based upon past experience and guest feedback. It was an excellent choice. One of the couples on the barge cruise was, in fact, planning to stay at the...

We enjoyed the chef's tasting menu which was excellent from start to finish. A highlight was the simple yet decadent dessert - we opted out of the chestnut offered asking for something else and were guided to a honey course. Lovely little dots of honey some with tiny flowers atop others with various accompaniments and each was wonderful. The service...

Every time I come to Dijon I try to go back to l'Abbaye de la Bussiere which is one of my absolute favourite place. Should I need to celebrate a weeding (mine) some day, most probably it will be at l'Abbaye. This is also where my parents have planned a number of celebrations the past years with family members and...

Absolute hidden gem, if this hotel hadn't had been recommended by friends we wouldn't have found it. The grounds were stunning, food was amazing and staff very attentive! A really relaxing place to visit!

We didn't stay at the hotel but had a small reception in one of the lovely rooms upstairs. It was the music room and it was amazing. We were served Kir Royale and then a lovely assortment of canapes. The grounds are gorgeous. There were to ponies roaming the grounds. This place is decadent.

Beautiful quirky place with superb staff and the best food I have ever eaten. Also a great location for outdoor activities with the lovely canal just a few meters away for running, walking, cycling etc and also lovely hills close by. The hotel have courtesy cycles. I'll definitely return. It's expensive but just glorious. Will be even better when it...
