Casa Santo Stefano offers four large bedrooms with minibar, air condition, flat TV, free parking and wi-fi. Breakfast is included and guests have exclusive access to the garden and pool and to the self-service bar. We are just above Cernobbio with panoramic view on Como and the lake; there are two very good restaurants at less than 5 minutes by walk opened every day for lunch and dinner.
When we made our reservation for Casa Santo Stefano, I just assumed that this hotel/B&B would be directly at the lake...that is, an easy walkfrom it. Turned out...it wasn't. Well, there are steps that would take you down to the lake from the immediate neighborhood...More

We have, literally, just returned from 5 days in Cernobbio where we were attending a family wedding. My husband and I had Room 2 and my mother-in-law Room 4.

From our stay there, unfortunately I can’t answer the questions definitively. We had a room with a king-size bed on the second floor with a view from the window of the lake, the pool and some of the garden. There wasn’t a balcony, though. We didn’t take the walk down to “the town” of Cernobbio, which is about only a 4 to 5 minute drive. Close to the hotel we were told that there are public stairs from the neighborhood down to the town. We were under the impression that it would take about twenty minutes but they are steep and going up seemed daunting. By the way, cab service is available if you need it but I don’t know yhe cost. You can call Adel and he’d answer any questions with greater accuracy.

Hi. Sorry I can't really help as we drove to cast santa Stefano as were on a driving holiday through France and Italy. However, as most visitors to Como fly into Milan I'm guessing you could just book a taxi from the airport. You don't need a car once you get to Como as its easily walkable from the hotel to the Lake shore and then you can use the lake steamers. Hope this helps. Janet
