We stayed at La Giara 3 years ago when we were on a Rick Steve Sicily tour. When we came back to Sicily on our own we did not want to miss Cefalu or La Giara. The location near the Duomo is great. The rooms are small but very clean and tastefully appointed. The staff is gracious. There is also...

I had a quadruple for myself only, just one electric plug in the whole room+bathroom. TV set from the last millennium with decoder and two different remote controls. Clean and confortable for all the rest.

We stayed at Hotel Ristorante La Giara for 9 nights during our recent trip to Cefalu. It's situated right in the heart of the Old Town in the narrow one way streets. On arrival the receptionist didn't say much except demand our passports and tell us the room number. He then took a tourist map and highlighted where the hotel...

The hotel is very nice and centrally located but extremely difficult to reach by car. It is located on a very narrow one way street with non existent parking. The hotel garage could not accommodate a full size car. Free parking down by the marina was about a 20 minute walk away. The hotel staff was very helpful in unloading...

Staying at this place you won't get any luxury, it will reflect the price being paid. Simple hotel, small rooms but clean and within walking distance from all the places in Cefalu. The nearest beach is 5 min walking. There is no restaurant at the hotel but plenty of options around. Check the sunset from the rooftop.

The location is convenient for exploring the city and the sites. The hotel is a bit cramped and our room was on the small side. The roof top terrace has a great view of the city and sea and is ideal for a cocktail in the evening or coffee in the morning. The staff were professional, the place is very...

Some of the reviewers of this fine hotel seem to have forgotten where they are. The Duomo, constructed in the 11th century, is meters away. So is the ancient marina and the lavatoio, known by the Romans. The hotel is in a building in Via Veterani, a cobbled, narrow street lined with three and four-story stone buildings. Most have wrought-iron...

Stayed here for just one night - excellent location to explore Cefalu. However, although the room rate was cheap, the room was clean but very basic and dated. Staff did not seem particularly attentive, or welcoming - overall this had more of a feel of a hostel than a hotel. We'd seen that there was a roof terrace, but in...

This was our first time traveling Europe on a budget so we kept our expectations low. This hotel is located in the historic district so its close to the Duomo, close to shopping and close to many outdoor eating and drinking establishments. That being said, the place is dated, wifi was weak or nonexistent and the mini fridge did not...

This hotel is perfectly located 2 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes from the central piazza containing Cefalu cathedral. The rooms themselves are quite basic, but perfectly adequate, with small balconies and a fridge. The bathroom was small, but had a modern and powerful shower. The rooms are kept very clean by the cleaning staff. The staff are all...
