We had a great week in Hotel la Torre. Very nice people. Good and clean rooms. Big and complete breakfast. A lovely city overlooking the beatifull Lago Trassimeno. Beachclubs, sailschool, restaurants and local festivals. And of course, great food!

What a surprise - what a lovely place on a hill overlooking a lake We were greeted well - pass loan ed to get car into walled city for offloading luggage and then advise on free parking area outside the walls - good large room and comfortable - good breakfast in the morning - should have stayed for longer to...

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and the owner made sure you left for your day with a good start. The rooms were a dated, but otherwise nice and well kept. Location was great, right inside the castle walls.

A very high standard hotel. Our room was nicely furnished, spacious and comfortable with a good sized bathroom. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. The position is perfect in the old town of Castiglione del Lago with some excellent restaurants nearby. The breakfast comes from the next door patisserie which (we think) belongs to the hotel.
