Bang center of this delightful Tuscan town. The hotel was home of the squarcialupi family who owned surrounding vineyards and much of the village. The hotel is old and gracious with spacious bedrooms, delightful sitting rooms and secure parking. Down the street less than 50 meters is the La Taverna restaurant which belongs to the hotel and produces superb cuisine...

The hotel is right on the main market street. A dozen restaurants and many more shops all within easy walking. Real nice old building made modern. Nice breakfast and great staff. The view over the valley is stunning. They have a Spa (steam and dry sauna, hot tub and showers). Outside pool. Wifi was strong and always available. I would...

We spent two nights here in the middle of our Italian vacation. We did not rent a car, which I would probably do differently if I were to come again. The hotel is built on top of the ancient wall smack dab in the center of the historic village. We had the two level room with a view of the...

We had a one night stay upon arriving via car we park just by school and police station in parking bay €1 per hour then just up to the pedestrian walk way was the hotel. They give you a code for some gates for the free parking which is a step decline just down from where we parked. You get...

Nice and friendly staff and the hotel is located in a great location in Castellina. Out the back windows there are rolling hills and when you walk out the front you are in the small, quaint town. Would most definitely recommend this hotel for Chianti/

This hotel was an amazing stay. Location: Its located within Castellini in Chianti (which is a very nice town in itself) and has beautiful view points from the pool and eating area. It is located close to some very tasty restaurants in Castellini, we could just walk over from the hotel. The hotel also has a restaurant, but we did...

We spent 3 nights here at the beginning of our bicycle tour of Tuscany. We had a fabulous room with upper level sleeping area and lower level sitting area. Sweet little terrace overlooking the valley behind the hotel. Nice buffet breakfast in the morning and I enjoyed lounging in the garden and pool after our rides

This hotel has a good location and is very beautiful. Room was big and clean, as well as bathroom. On one side it faces old town street, and on the other it has breathtaking panorama of Tuscany. Unfortunately our room was facing street, and there was some local band and a DJ playing incredibly loud music until midnight. Reception told...

The location is in middle of the main two streets downtown the village. To go by car, call first as it is not easy to access the parking and some days of the week, due to the local market, the streets are closed. The manager on duty is a Scotish lady who may orientate you well. The hotel is an...

What a beautiful location and gorgeous views! The staff was helpful and knowledgable and the room (102) was exceptionally spacious. Their location is conveniently located and easily walkable to every part of town. Since this was a 3-day stop between Rome and Florence for us, we took advantage of the beautiful back yard to relax on chaise lounge chairs, enjoy...
