My wife and I were lucky enough to stay here for one night at the end of a glorious 10 day trip in Italy. We arrived after sunset, unaware of how gorgeous the surroundings truly were. We checked in with Filippo who was a super nice guy, very laid back. We stayed in the Livia suite and were in heaven....

We stayed at the "Cottage Talluri" for a long weekend - much too short! The friendly staff and lovingly decorated place made us feel at home instantly and it offers countless activities in and around the vineyards. The huge garden invites for strolls or just sipping on a glass of wine under the shade of a tree. Perfect getaway! Being...

We stayed in the Madoloro apartment of this beautiful agriturismo. Buildings overlook the magnificent vineyards. Lovely patio set for wine tasting (complimentary for guests, also open to the public.). Breakfast available, as is dinner with prior notice. Beautifully appointed and well furnished apartment, helpful staff, great location (just off the SR222, not far from Radda and Siena). We loved our...

Finding a nice place to stay in Tuscany is not an easy task. Sometimes the photos published in websites are far from the reality, and you learn this on arriving. This is not the case with Querceto. We stayed there for more than a week, and enjoyed every minute. This is the perfect place if you are traveling with kids....

Went here with "wine tour is Tuscany" (which was the bomb!) and loved the place. Was most excited to get home and learn some of their wines are available at my local Total Wine & More! They presented the wines in crystal glasses (like they do in Napa) and it just brought the tasting to a whole different level!

I was determined to stay at a working farm/agriculturismo for my family's first trip to Tuscany. I have always dreamed of immersing myself in the true essence of a place that I imagined to be borderline magical. Querceto di Castellina is in the very heart of Chianti and, true enough, they produce some fine examples of the regions signature wines...

This was a beautiful place that Claudio Silversti took us to. We had an amazing time and tasted great wine and saw beautiful sights. We saw the landscape of Sienna and the Chianti valley. Plus it is always great to feel like you are at home when you visit a place.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located in Querceto, between the Sienese towns of Castellina and Radda in Chianti, already mentioned with its estate on the maps of the sixteenth century Guelph Captains, the company is extending its property for more than 125 acres, of which 27,20 will become vineyards, 26,20 of which are enrolled in the Chianti Classico DOCG and about 7 are for olive groves. Since the late 1980s, this estate, strengthened by one of the first agritourism licenses granted in the Chianti area, has been specializing in accommodation and providing a unique experience for our guests. Our main farm complex today includes preserving all traces of its history and evolution over the centuries, which makes it very original and suggestive, in addition to its great architectural interest. Eight guest suites from 2 to 8 beds are available, all with a fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom with shower, independent gas heating, fireplace, telephone, Wi-Fi internet access, TV, and a small private sitting area. A series of initiatives designed to further enliven a stay include wine-tasting events, family dinners and cooking classes that are dedicated to traditional regional dishes. ... more   less
