Just outside the town, but the ski bus stop is close by to head into Canazei or Alba. The chalet is clean but the food wasn't anything to write home about. The Crystal staff need a bit of get up and go, only Abby had a personality. Great for families with young children as the Whizz club is on site.... More

Great choice for a family orientated chalet. Onsite nursery providing excellent childcare arrangements. Early evening meals and milk available for children, Adjoined lounge permits children to be close during adult meals. Bus stop 50m from chalet - recommend weekly ski bus ticket 10 euro providing great connectivity to locality.

This was our third Christmas stay in Chalet Violetta and we have booked already for Christmas 2016. The chalet is well catered and the chalet hosts are great. The chef, Kris cooked really good food and Christmas dinner was lovely. We had scrummy cakes for when we returned int he afternoon, I really cant fault the meals at all. There... More

This is our second stay in Chalet Violetta and we are considering a third! The chalet is warm and comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere. The 4 hosts that look after the chalet are excellent (2 of which - Chloe and James, were their last year) and Freddy the Italian chef produced some wonderful food. They are friendly, helpful and full... More

This was my fourth ski trip to Canazei and my second stay at this chalet, stayed at the neighbouring Traviata last year. This is not a luxury chalet but it does provide a good standard of accommodation and gives ready access to the crystal childcare facilities (having stayed in a hotel in the centre previously it is much easier to... We have just had a third holiday at Violetta. Staff were as attentive and helpful as ever. With an Italian chef this time the food was better than before. There is so much skiing in this area that a fourth trip may be on the cards.

This is our 5th different chalet and easily the best. the staff have been more than helpful, and the food (Freddy was the chef) superb, quite a steep incline from the ski room to the road but cleared of snow regularly so easily dealt with. Thank you to all the staff and we'll definitely be back.

Traviatta is Violetta's sister Chalet, right next door to one another and about 10 minutes walk outside Canazei village. Stayed with Crystal Ski, so their people were running the accommodation.Very clean, warm, comfortable beds, hot water at all times, fresh towels.Food excellent and would shame most hotels.Secure boot room with heated rack.Bus stop 1-2 minute walk with a regular bus service.Free WiFi in the... We were a party of eleven who booked a year in advance. As soon as we arrived the staff wanted rooms changed to accommodate the cot. This was frustrating as we had wanted the room for the bath. We said no and the cot was taken to the original booked room. We had no formal welcome meeting. The first evening... More

We have now stayed at the Chalet Violetta twice, March 2012 and January 2014. It was definitely worth a second visit as it offers a great location for the Belvedere and Ciampac lifts, good hospitality and food. Staying in a catered chalet is ideal. The chalet sleeps about 27 or so guests. In the basement it has a communal living... More
