We had an excellent stay in La Topaia. We were there in April and our luxurious room was large and warm. The large en suite bathroom is very chic, beautiful and clean. We had dinner each night and were served the most delicious, typical Italian cuisine. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, or better food. Our... More

Imagine a wedding dinner at Tuscany sunset and dancing until dawn under a starry sky with a full moon. Imagine the finest Tuscan cuisine served straight from the Danielas heart. It was all in La Topaia. Daniela, Michele, Mateo - thank you for everything. We will definitely return to you more than once. With full responsibility for the words I... More

We were welcomed by Matteo, who picked us from Borgo San Lorezo railway station and delivered us to La Topaia. Daniela, realising that we hadn't eaten lunch, then brought out a host of freshly sliced home grown tomatoes, tuna, local cheese and some local wine. Daniela and Michelle's generosity continued for the next five days. Whereas I had a slight... More

What a lovely place! Easy to find even though it is well off the beaten track; very clean with friendly owners. A couple of alterations and it would be a perfect haven - no airconditioning (but we didn't expect this with a working farm) but no fan either and we had very hot weather for the end of August/September. No... More

This is a wonderful villa on a working farm in Tuscany approximately 3 km from Borgo San Lorenzo. It is clean and fresh (rooms are cleaned daily and very well). The rooms were very comfortable with all amenities. Beautiful home baking in addition to bread at breakfast (as much as you can eat). The evening meals were also delicious and... More

La Topaia was chosen on the basis of being very near to the Mugello circuit Its set in beautiful countryside just close enough to the circuit to make it very convienient, but far enough away to give you a peaceful night. Pictures of La Topaia looked lovely, and I can only say they surpassed our expections. We stayed in The... More

We stayed at La topaia for 4 nights with our 2 years old son (we had our own travel cod & high chair with us). Michele & Daniela are great hosts, friendly, Daniela's an excellent cook, they do have a little place of paradise in a quiet part of Tuscany. The pool was still a bit fresh, but the days... More
