Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.

We can recommend this hotel for a short stay in or around Bassano del Grappa.
Excellent hotel with nice and comfy rooms, free parking and lovely garden. Even in October the rooms could be heated.
The restaurant is extremely good. We had “tartar de boeuf” and a beautiful fish with vegetables. Also the desert tiramisu was very special and delicious.
Maybe a good idea to air the room a bit more often.

I had already been to the restaurant (fantastic). The hotel 2 km from the center of Bassano is a beautiful renovated villa. The spacious room is clean,
Small bathroom but with everything you need.
Breakfast 🔝 and trained and kind staff. Absolutely recommended

This hotel was totally unexpected! It's in a villa from the 1700s but it has a hip "design" feel to it, think of stone walls and moden danish lights-- hard to explain but it's really cool! This was a romantic getaway for us, and we enjoyed a romantic candlelight dinner out in the garden. And the food!! Out of this world! This place only has 19 rooms, and I'm sure as the word gets out, it will be hard to find a room here! A tip: If you want to avoid the crowds in Venice, stay here- its just an hour trin ride away!

My husband and I spent just one night here as we toured around the Veneto last month. I had high hopes for the hotel based on the web site, but we were both immediately disappointed. The reception was cool and disinterested. Our room (in the Barchessa) was dark and uninviting. We went out to the outdoor restaurant area hoping for a Prosecco but waited quite some time before anyone came by and then casually told us of course they could bring us a Prosecco (which they did but did not return again). Dinner was enjoyable in the restaurant, but again, rather impersonal. The room was so dark (one small window in the corner, no overhead light and very small lamps by the bed) that we couldn't read in bed (I put the little lamp on my lap to see my book) and had to go to the window to see things well. Also, because it is located (on a busy road) outside of Brassano del Grappa (though with a garden between the hotel and elevated) there isn't much to do. We both agreed that the town looked very interesting and next time in the area, we will find something there and enjoy the evening life amongst the locals! It's probable that later in the season, with more guests at the hotel, there would be a better feeling at the hotel.

We changed our itinerary a week before we left for our trip so that we could visit this charming hotel in the lovely town of Bassano. The staff was warm and helpful in every way. Sharla, the manager, was absolutely amazing, seeing to it that we enjoyed all that Bassano had to offer which includes beautiful sights, good shopping, and Nardino Grappa. The hotel has an outstanding restaurant which offers inside or outside dining. The rooms have beautiful beamed ceilings and are as clean as any place I have ever stayed. We look forward to returning to this gem of a hotel and town.

design, hospitality, town...all top of the line without being too fancy, sticky or crowded.
if you are looking for a quiet place in northern Italy, off the bitten track - Bassano is one of the loveliest towns. it it there are several nice hotels, and I stayed in most of them in the last several years - but this one is clearly the best. and it's the best not only in Bassano but in Italy and probably one of the best worldwide. just be aware - it's not one of these large fancy hotels - it has it's style and combination of old and new - in all - building, people, food, facilities...

We stayed for one night at the Villa Ca'sette on our way from Vienna to Tuscany. The buildings and gardens were well kept, the room was very nice and clean, with a high ceiling with wood beams and a very comfortable bed.

We walked around half an hour to the center of Bassano del Grappa to have dinner ab took a taxi back.

Breakfast at the hotel was a pleasurable affair, continental, but of good quality, the cappucino was high Italian standard and the breakfast room airy and light with a view of the gardens. Breakfast outside in summer surely also enjoyable.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Will return if ever we are in the area.

This hotel used to be part of a vineyard and is located some three miles from the town of Bassano Del Grappa.
My wife and I stayed here as part of our five week motoring holiday in Italy. The food is of extremely high quality and is served in a smart restaurant overlooking the lawns fountains and pond in the garden. (Not available Sunday) Our bedroom had an arched hand painted ceiling mini bar and a characterful ensuite situated down a small flight of stairs. Our huge bed was located on a raised platform in the centre of the room which we thought an interesting adornment but also a serious tripping hazard in the dark
During our stay the weather was hot and humid and unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was broken, which necessitated us having the double aspect windows open all night
The hiring of bicycles was a delightful aspect to this hotel and we used these to travel to and from the local town of Bassano Del Grappa. The route to town was delightfully beautiful and followed the river all the way to the Ponte Vecchio bridge. All the staff were helpful and friendly and we would like in particular to thank Deborah who is the young trainee receptionist for her kindness and enthusiasm. An ironing board and iron was delivered to our room to enable us to wear crease free clothes at dinner. Wifi is free and available throughout the hotel. We consider this hotel good value for money.

We had booked one night, anticipating a wonderful experience, according to their web-site.
Reception staff were very impersonal, almost rude. No smile, no acknowledgement, no thankyou. This immediately put us on edge, so subsequently, we couldn't enjoy the lovely surroundings. It takes people, caring staff to really make a difference. It hurt to hand over all that money at the end of the stay. Will not recommend this accommodation.

I stayed here for 24 hours on a business trip and can honestly say that it fulfilled my expectations for a 4* traditional country cottage.

I stayed at one of the top-floor rooms, accessed by a couple of steps just after the elevator landing.

Let's start with the basics: The room is good. The bed's a firm double with pretty good sheets and decent pillows. The shower's big, with ample hot water and pressure. Altogether, a pretty nice and functional bathroom. The cupboards (or "closets" if you prefer), are spacious. It's not a "B&B", as it also has a pretty good restaurant on the premises. My only regret with the room is that the window was very small and allowed very little light and view. I suspect it has to do with the building having being converted from a previous use. Oh, and the Wi-fi internet worked fine in the room.

Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the quality of the food, despite there being a reportedly good restaurant on the premises, as I took all my meals outside of the premises.

One thing I did enjoy, though, was the garden and lawn, after coming back from my early morning jogging around the town and riverside: great place to warm-down with a few exercises.

Finally, when in town, which is only a fifteen-minute walk away, make sure you shop for the rare distillates and "grappe" of Capovilla: a local distillery with exquisite quality.
