What a lovely welcome, warm and friendly service, low key place with nice rooms and lovely hot showers.

Bruno and family (and the dogs) are lovely.

Stayed a week, and enjoyed their family feel, good choice of breakfast, and had dinner a coupon of times which was always generous and satisfying.

5 mins walk into the Main Street also has choice of bars and restaurants, with a few shops in the day - and the mountains here are really beautiful.

Bit of a walk to the ski lifts (10 mins there, or 15 back as it’s uphill and legs are tired..)

Free busses do stop outside every 30 mins, though if you’ve got snowboarding boots or a change of shoes on, it’s as easy to stroll.

We stayed with a group of British friends in early September for a few days exploring this beautiful area on the many permitted 4x4 tracks. It was our second stay at this hotel and once again we had a very warm welcome from the host Bruno and his family.

The hotel is modern and the rooms are a good size, well appointed with a good-sized shower-room, very clean, comfortable and warm. There is a large bar/lounge area which is in the linked adjacent building and a restaurant. Having chosen half-board we were very pleased with the good breakfast buffet and four course evening meals which were home-cooked and delicious.

We will certainly return to this area again and will stay at The Europa. Highly recommended and good value for money.

Hotel Europa is classically Italian. Family-run and family friendly. Its half board deal is fantastic value. The room we stayed in for a skiing trip was clean, warm and a lot larger than some ski resort rooms I've been in. The food was basic Italian: hot, tasty and plentiful. The Europa is a way from the slopes [in a very nice semi-rural setting] but it's about a ten minute walk to the attractive Borgho Vecchio (Old Town) for the nearest stop for the free every-15-minutes circular bus to the slopes. If you leave your skis and boots in a deposito at Campo Smith, walking and public transport is no problem. There is also a lot of parking for inveterate drivers.

Hotel Europa is easily Bardonecchia's best value hotel. The manager Bruno could not be more accommodating. I travel with a group called The Soho Ski Club to Bardonecchia every year. We can't imagine staying anywhere else. This place is a family run hotel with very high standards. As for the food, well.......

Super hotel in this lovely Italian ski resort. The proprietor, Bruno, and his family will make you very welcome. Great home cooked Italian food. Comfortable and clean rooms. 15-20 minute downhill walk to the slopes - not so much fun on the way home!! Would definitely recommend Hotel Europa. Nothing was too much trouble.

Great host, even when we arrived late than expected. Good comfortable room with a great view. Breakfast was excellent and early enough for us to get a good start to our run up the hill. Thank you for looking after us.

Simply one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Headed up by Bruno, this family-run hotel did everything possible to ensure we had a great experience. Friendly and welcoming, with clean rooms and excellent food. If you're going to Bardonecchia, it's simple, give Bruno a call.

Bruno and his family treat you like one of their own. You won't go hungry with all the home cooked food to enjoy after a day on the slopes.

The rooms are comfy and clean and the hotel itself is well located.

Our yearly skiing group heads back year after year.

Highly recommended

Our group keeps coming back to this place year after year because we feel so welcome and appreciated. The family are very helpful with local knowledge and the evening meals are plentiful, tasty and well presented. When one of our party was injured, Bruno went to visit him in hospital to check on him even after we had come home to England.

We went just for the off road motorcycling which it is an ideal base. Probably good for walking the hills but not sure what else there was about. Mike
