What a fantastic hotel Ca Fiore is! Staff are friendly, helpful and professional at all times and always willing to go the extra mile. Hotel was immaculately clean as were the rooms which were a very good size. Beds are extremely comfortable and probably the best beds we’ve had on a ski holiday! Plenty storage space in large wardrobe and hanging hooks for jackets etc! Super bathroom with good shower and plenty hot water and great light over sink was excellent. Lighting in room was cosy but could have been a bit brighter to see in the wardrobe and especially to read the numbers on the safe, but the iPhone torch came in very useful, so not a problem. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed a couple of times, but bedding was on for the week again no problem with that! The location of the hotel is brilliant for getting to the slopes as you can walk to the slopes in about 5 mins but you can use the heated ski boot lockers at Ski Sport Dain which costs about €37 for 6 days to make it as easy as possible! The bar and lounge area in the hotel are lovely and a really welcoming place to come back to and relax with a nice beer or glass of wine! There were always nibbles on the bar in the evenings and some of them hot from the kitchen, a very welcome appetiser before dinner! Food was delicious all the time. Breakfast was a buffet selection of cooked meats, cheese, croissants, hard boiled eggs, cake etc. Dinner was a salad buffet to start with a varied selection of food, all very tasty! Other courses were chosen at breakfast and were all really delicious and there were a choice of a few desserts too! The tiramisu was definitely the star of the week! One of our group was a coeliac and the hotel made sure he was catered for at all times, unlike the mountain restaurants which said they were gluten free but all they had were gluten free biscuits! We’ve stayed in many ski hotels around the world and Ca Fiore comes out number one for everything and one day hopefully we’ll go back but in the summertime as the skiing there is not for us! Highly recommend the hotel!

What a fantastic week. I could not find fault with this accommodation, all the staff were so accommodating and welcoming. We travelled with two young children and nothing was too much trouble. The food was plentiful and if you required an alternative option they were more than happy to provide. As weathered skiers, we booked our children’s ski equipment hire through the hotel recommendations rather than the crystal app. The cleaning staff were so friendly and the rooms were traditionally decorated with more than enough room for 4. We chose the resort as our children are new to skiing and it was brilliant for them! We plan to return.

We stayed here on 9th January for a week. The hotel is decorated in Alpine style and has a cosy fire in the dining room and corner of the lounge. We did not have a problem with noise. We could sometimes hear noises from other rooms, but no more than we have in other hotels. The food was great. There is a salad buffet and then a prima course, usually soup, pasta or risotto and then the secondo course of meat or fish. As is usual in Italy there are very little vegetables or potatoes with the meat or fish. There is a choice of menu and as we had two vegetarians they were always happy to supply pasta for the second. Ice cream was always available for dessert, amongst the other options.
The staff were all friendly and the lady on reception told my grandchildren that they were allowed to borrow the sledges from the boot room, which they greatly enjoyed.
The hotel is in an ideal position across the road from Campo Smith , which has the nursery slopes and several bars. There is an Alpine rollercoaster too.
We were hoping to have a snowcat ride but we’re informed there was not enough snow.
There are regular buses into the village, except at lunchtime but we found that not much was going on in the village.
We found Saturday extremely busy as lots of Italians visit for the day.
Crystal ski arranged our ski hire which was good except the skis weren’t numbered and there were several skis exactly the same in the boot room . This caused confusion several times. A locker can be hired at the ski hire shop next to the slope.

We were a group of 10 people booked to stay here for a week from the 8th March. When we arrived the staff were friendly and very helpful, the hotel is just across the road from the chairlift and 2 nursery slopes. An amazing ski area, lovely for beginners and not so confident skiers.
The hotel its self is very charming the rooms are a good size and the views were good.
The food is very very good, a good choice and plenty to eat.
The staff were so friendly and kind to us all.
Unfortunately we only got 2 days at the hotel before Italy shut down and we got flown out. The staff were amazing they gave us lunch and packed us up sandwiches etc for the flight home, they remain professional, happy and helpful the whole time even though they were dealing with all the emotions of there lives changing.
Id just like to say a big thank you to you all, we all got home safely and have been well since.
We wish you all the best and hopefully we will be back again, soon.

This is a very friendly, clean, and well positioned hotel directly opposite the main Campo Smith chairlift. If you enjoy really good quality Italian food then this is the place for you. Some of the meals were definitely on a par with a fine dining restaurant, the pasta is fresh and hot and there was always a decent choice on the menu. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms although fairly basic are clean and tidy with plenty of hot water. There is a Sauna and Jacuzzis which is nice and relaxing after a day on the slopes. Breakfast is buffet style but the evening meal is served at your table other than the salad course which is self serving and good quality food. If you’re after a hotel in an excellent position which serves decent food then this is well worth a visit. This was our second visit and interestingly it was nice to hear Italians praising the authentic food

This is a lovely, warm and welcoming hotel. The staff are excellent, so friendly and attentive and can't do enough for you. Francesco was fantastic at his job and took care of everyone.
The hotel was warm and cosy, the rooms were a good size and very clean. The wellness centre was great to visit after a day on the slopes and never too busy.
The hotel is in a great location to the slopes, the nearest chairlift is only several hundred metres away. It's approx. a 10 minute walk to the town centre. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Another fabulous holiday at Hotel Ca Fiore. What makes it great are the staff who deliver every day. Rooms and public areas are kept spotlessly clean and everyone has a willingness to help to make your stay safe and happy. Bardo and Ca Fiore were even mentioned in the Times for a great value skiing holiday! Only want is that the food is slightly better but we never went hungry due to the variety on offer. Thank you to all the staff but thank you Katya for making our stay so special.

We stayed here during our first family ski trip! The hotel is a few mins walk from the lift and the nursery slopes.
The hotel is small so it’s got a very friendly atmosphere. The rooms are a decent size and there was always plenty of hot water. My only issue would be that the room was a bit dark, the rooms contained a lot of wood and I think more lights were needed.
There’s a sauna and three jacuzzi’s, which were always quiet, so popular with us at the end of the day after skiing.
The food was absolutely fantastic, with a delicious buffet followed by first, then second course and dessert.
What made the hotel such a nice place to stay for us was the staff in the hotel. The team were so pleasant and helpful. We had our 5 and 8 year old with us and our nephew. They were so lovely with the children and we were able to ask for things they would be more likely to eat, like pasta and tomato sauce (which was very tasty according to our youngest)!
I don’t think I have been in many hotels where the service is so friendly.
If you’re looking for a great hotel for your skiing holiday then I’d highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Ca Fiore. The staff were very inviting and organized. The hotel was warm and cozy with perfect 'alpine' ambience. There are wood beams, fireplaces on in the evening, and a relaxing sitting room. The food is very delicious. I normally like to go out to local restaurants to experience traditional regional cuisine, but the half board dinner at Ca Fiore was all extremely delicious local traditional food (I researched!). Our room was large, and warm. It is so close to the Campo Smith main mountain base, and the free shuttle bus to Jafferau ski area is only a 2 minute walk away. The walk to the central high street is about 15 minutes, but the hotel is better located to the actual ski hill and free shuttles between ski hills. My only minor complaint is that hot water can run out at peak hours for the bath/shower after ski times. We will definitely try to come back here again. Bardonecchia was a reasonable size ski resort, but we also very easily took the train to Sauze d'Oulx for the Milky Way/Via Lattea ski area a few days too. Highly recommend!
