Websites and photos sometimes promise more than they deliver. In case of La Striscia it's the opposite, the apartment, gardens, pool, the entire place was even more beautiful than one could capture in photos. In addition, photos could never capture the amazing hospitality and ambiance Silvia and Marco create for their guests every day. Starting with Silvia's amazing cappuccino and...

The warmest and friendliest welcome of any B&B/Agriturismo's we've stayed in - but most of all the superb location, the relaxed atmosphere and attention to detail and comfort made this a wonderful stay on the outskirts of Arezzo. It is an oasis of laid back charm surrounded by vineyards and fields and yet only a ten minutes or so walk...

My wife Polly and I have just returned from our honeymoon. 4 days of which were spent at La Striscia. We had an incredible stay. What made it so was not the real Tuscan feel, the quietness of the rural location nor the ridiculously close proximity to the wonderful town of Arezzo, it wasn't even the beautiful grounds and swimming...

We stayed here for a week during our last holiday and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Marco and his team provided caring, first class assistance right from initial booking to a kind lift to the station when we left. The accomodation is beautiful and homely with everything you need and the various gardens allow you...

My wife and myself use to go spend 3 or 4 nights at La Striscia every time we feel tired or we need to be in a silent Heaven! Excellent welcome, excellent 1501's stone rooms in the middle of the vineyards...

Rarely does a place take your breath away, like La Striscia. From the moment we arrived we felt like we'd re-connected with our long-lost Italian family! Marco and the team went out of their way to make sure we got the most out of our Tuscan experience. Comfy's quiet attention to detail (noticing the washing hanging in our apartment and...

We absolutely adored our two-day stay at La Striscia! Let me count the reasons why: Marco, our host was charming, funny, and incredibly helpful...felt like hanging out with a friend, rather than an inn keeper. The appartment we stayed in was quite wonderful: a farm-house feel decorated in modern style--roomy, comfortable, cozy. The surroundings--vineyards, rolling hills--were fun to stroll and...

We stayed at La Striscia for ten days in April and can highly recommend it. The location is ideal as a base for day trips to several of the hill towns in Southern Tuscany and Umbria, but it is also the perfect place to just unwind and enjoy the immediate surrounds. The estate itself is well worth exploring, and Arezzo...

I am traveling in Arezzo with a student group and our organizer arranged a tour of the Striscia Winery. Our host was very kind and interested in the many questions by our students. We toured the grounds where he explained how the grapes grew and were harvested, we also looked at how wine was made at the different stages. The...

Forget your stress and enjoy! Idyllic setting in the middle of vines and cypress trees. Fifteen minutes walk to the center of Arezzo, 5 minutes by taxi (7€) to the railway station. Tasteful interior decoration with extreme sense of detail. Spacy and comfortable bedrooms and living room. Maria's Tuscan dinner took us to gastronomical heaven!
