Pros: Cheap price..... Good location at the entrance of the old city, free parking. Cons : Wi-Fi only in common area, coffee is disgusting, bed is saggy, Shower is tiny, room has seen better days, staff is not available.

I arrived in Aggrigento and first hotel I saw was Amici. A great name by the way. I entered, met english spoken receptionist (a rarity in italian hotels) and got the key. Hotel not a splendid one, but view from room is a killer ! Valley of the Temples in a distance, lit columns, and a mystery to discover waiting... More

I spent 3 days in Agrigento, mainly to visit the Valley of the Temples of course, but the extra time was to see the Archaeological museum, and wander around the town. My room was small but very comfortable. The breakfast is pretty basic, ideal for me as I don't eat much in the mornings. The coffee was ok, the fresh... More

If you are looking to explore Agrigento without paying over the top, Hotel Amici is the hotel for you. The rooms are basic but clean. My partner and I required somewhere to shower and sleep, this hotel was perfect, and is located a few minutes walk from the historical city of Agrigento. The hotel is located within easy reach of... We only stayed for one night because we were only in Agrigento to see the valley of the temples but the front desk at the hotel was great!! They even let us print out our boarding passes on their computer and they also held our luggage for us while we explored the town. Overall great one day experience.

The hotel is in a very central but uninspiring location next to the railway station.Comfortable rooms and good value for money, but the breakfast the worst Ive ever had in Italy in 25 years.A good base to explore the Valley of the Temples.

Hotel Amici is very well situated off the main road and had parking available. It is a five minute drve from the Valley of Temples and only a few minutes from the centre of Agrigento, making an excellent spot. The lobby has a good modern decor and you can spend some relaxing time in the terrace with some of their... More

We stayed at the hotel just for one night. We did not have time to even have breakfast so I cannot comment on that. What I wanted to stress is the great location. We arrived by train from Palermo and discovered that the hotel was only a flight of steps and a crossing away from the station. This is like... More
