This hotel is the prefect location for a visit to the Valley of the Temples. It has its own private entrance to the park and boasts beautiful views of the Temple of Juno from many of the rooms and its lovely terrace. The room we had was bright and modern and extremely comfortable. Staff was warm and friendly. We felt...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 29 October 2016 via mobile

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel as part of a 8-day 'driving through Sicily' holiday, and it was fantastic. The staff were all warm and friendly, the room was exceptional and we had a delux room with a temple view, which was quite magical. The food has been the best so far on our journey and we will hopefully...

- You can't beat the location; literally in the middle of a UNESCO world heritage site and an unrivaled view of an ancient temple - The property is super premium, with great service and friendly staff - Staff also recommended some great spots in central Agrigento - Breakfast was great - The pool area was comfortable and well designed, with...

Stayed here 1 night to visit the temples of Agrigento. This Hotel is all and exclusively about the location, as it faces the temples and the pool is basically in front of it. It has a great terrace bar with view on the valley. HOWEVER, it is very pricy and only worth it if you can enjoy the pool, the...

What an incredible hotel. The location to the valley of temples is perfect. The views are breathtaking. This is a 5 star hotel that is absolutely beautiful and dedicated to service. I highly recommend the hotel. We also had dinner at the restaurant which I will review separately.

We stayed at this hotel 20 years ago on our honeymoon and returned this year as part of our 20th anniversary celebrations. It was lovely then and lovely now but has lost a little of its charm and personality in the renovation process. It's now a five star property and we booked directly as the rate was cheaper but not...

The location, especially with a view of Concordia, could not be better. However, the room decor and service are up to a five star standard as well. A very nice touch is a spacious patio or lanai outside the room and facing the temples. The restaurant is lovely, with cuisine and service that are superb. One might expect to pay...

Everything about Villa Athena and our stay there was just as we would have wished. A lovely room, a comfortable bed, a stunning view of the temples through our window, first class service from all the staff, and a gourmet dinner in the restaurant. What a boon that the hotel has its own private access to the temples. Good wifi...

This is all about the location, overlooking the temples with a private lane to walk directly into the temple complex (although you still need to pay the entrance fee). Ambience is slightly "clinical international", but clean and great service. Food was wonderful. We visited out of season, but it would be amazing to eat on the terrace in the summer.

Look out over a well-lit archaeological treasure from the pool or your room. Roam the exquisitely planted and maintained grounds. Enjoy the best of ancient culture and modern amenities in a hotel without peer in the Agrigento area. Best views are from the upper floor; our ground-floor suite was partially below ground level and somewhat cramped.
