Quiet, country and private.
Perched on top of a hill with unbelievable views and nestled amongst Gum trees, we spent a beautiful weekend away at Dees Villa. Dee was a fabulous host, providing farm fresh brekkie provisions and helpful suggestions of places to visit around the area. We were then left to our own devices, to kick back and enjoy the peacefulness of the South Australian countryside. A horse lovers paradise too! A perfect getaway for Summer, so close to the beach but Winter is super cosy with the fire and Spa. Can’t wait to visit again soon.
We have just come home from a wonderful stay at Dees Villa. This is our second time. A great place to just stay in and relax by the fire or spend sometime in the jacuzzi. Or if you want to venture out you are not far from the beach, wineries or even some great nature walks. It is great that we can also take or dog. Looking forward to staying again.
Have stayed here twice now. Such a great getaway. Can sleep 4 comfortably and has heated floos and fireplace (which is all set up on arrival) the fresh baked bread and brekkie provisions are perfect. Short drive to local wineries and more. Has a great view for sunsets and looks over nice undulating paddocks. Will be back soon Dee!
Nestled under the gumtrees and sitting in the rolling hills - this beautiful Greek-inspired villa provides a refuge from the world. Comfortably appointed - with all the essential things including fresh breakfast provisions, mouth-watering home made bread, comfortable beds and a spa - we sat in the spa under the starry skies.. It was absolutely perfect.
I would recommend Dee's Villa to any couple wanting to get away for the weekend. My wife and I have just come back from our first stay there and are already planning to go back there. The Villa is tucked away in the hills above Myponga, the views and the peace and quiet were brilliant. It is located halfway between a couple of country towns that offer some of the best bakeries and an awesome micro-brewery. The attention to detail is great in the Villa, local produce awaits you in the fridge when you arrive, the woodfire was pre built - all we needed to do light a match, all the linen was provided, the soap and shampoo was provided and very nice, and the list goes on. The Villa itself is set up so the living area gives you a constant view of the rolling hills leading to the sea, the floor is heated taking the morning chill away and the spa is located in a private outdoor courtyard brilliant on a cold winters night. Definitely buy a bottle of red from the surrounding wine region that mixed with the sunsets over the hills and a raging fire make for the perfect couples night.…
We stayed at Dee's villa for a couple of nights recently and absolutely loved it. The villa is beautifully furnished and has gorgeous views over the surrounding countryside. Fantastic welcoming touches like the homemade bread and eggs from the farm were greatly appreciated. The peace is complete and the stars are fantastically bright at night. We loved the hot tub and enjoyed bubbling away in the evening after a BBQ. Bliss!
This is a beautiful little villa in a great setting. The villa itself has some lovely touches and is well looked after. Denise was a lovely host, very accommodating and provided fantastic bread, ham, eggs, tomatoes and milk. She made sure we had all we needed but was never intrusive in our stay. I stayed here with my husband and our puppy, and my sister-in-law, her husband and their baby, who were over from England. Enough room for our little group with the added security of the fenced outside space for our pup. Perfect for us to spend the evenings watching the sunset with a BBQ and then the rest of the evening relaxing in the hot tub. We felt it was one of the best places we had stayed at, as good as, or if not better than some villas stayed in, in Italy.
I really can't explain how beautiful Dees Villa is I have stayed here with my partner multiple times and we both just love it. The cabin is cosy in winter and breezy and cool in summer it's just relaxing and quiet and when you live a busy life it's a retreat for your soul. You look out at beautiful cliff top landscapes and horses, foals, lambs in paddocks. My advice bottle if red, platter of cheese, man of your dreams and a spa you can't go wrong this is our favourite place I will never get tired of its relaxed atmosphere I hope I retire somewhere just like this oh and huge breakfast provisions and baked bread just make it all the nicer.
