We stayed at the hotel on our way from Troy to Edirne. The room was a reasonable size but the bathroom and the shower was very small. The hotel is a long way from town but is on the coast and you can go for walks along the shoreline. The wifi was OK in the main lobby area but not so good in the room. The included evening meal was 3 courses with a soup, chicken dish and a custard for dessert. There was also a side salad and some stuffed capsicums. The meal was very nice. For breakfast they have a buffet and the food is served by a kitchen staff member behind glass which is very hygienic.

I must give a thumbs up to the staff there! I was travelling all the way from Malaysia to Turkey and it was my first night in Turkey during the saty at Troia. However, my right shoe sole started to detached after few hours arrived in Turkey. My schedule was just too pack to shop around for a new pair of shoes as I followed a tour with 20+ pax within the group. Upon arrival at the hotel at 9pm, I requested adhesive / gum from the hotel staff to fix the shoes. The staff was just too helpful to look for the glue in the night. He somemore helped me to apply the glue after observing that I was a bit uncertainty how to do it ;)

There isn't any elevator from the lobby to the room. As it was winter time and most of us carried large luggages which were full of the winter clothings, the staffs helped us to carry the luggages from the lobby to the rooms. They have been coordinated very well among themselves which actually helped us to cut short the check in time as well as check out time in the next morning.

The breakfast is somewhat nice although no suprise. It is a calming and peaceful hotel to stay with the family.

This hotel is located on a hillside and is a bit far from the town. There are stairs to reach the water after crossing the road. The pool wasn’t open in mid-April. Since trees surrounded the hotel there are birds and squirrels in the area.

Our room was on the ground floor (106) and had a/c, fridge, tv, 2 bottled water, coffee & tea supplies with a kettle, free toiletries & free wifi that worked only in the lobby. Our shower head did not work which some of our other tour members also experienced so we had to squat down under the faucet to "shower". Like most hotels there aren't enough towel racks to hang used towels to dry. The room was clean and accessible, though somewhat basic. There are other rooms with stairs to climb in order to reach them. There is a flight of stairs to reach the restaurant near the pool where we had dinner. The restaurant where breakfast is served is next to the reception area - no stair to climb.

The included breakfast consisted of breads, pastries, cereal, yogurt, dried & fresh fruits, cold cuts, various cheeses, Turkish dishes, and several types of juices & coffee. Our tour group had dinner in the hotel restaurant which consisted of rice with grilled mackerel which was quite moist. Chocolate pudding was our dessert.

First impressions of Hotel Tusan was it looks like one of those camps you went on at school. A walk down a small hill and you are at the sea. Coming out of winter pool was green and grounds unkempt. Pretty ordinary. Rooms are basic. Shower cubicle so tiny you couldn’t bend down to was your legs or for that matter wash under your arms.
The entire hotel is is need of a spruce up.
I can’t complain about service. All staff friendly and obliging.
We are on a tour so meals were set, but they all seem to be served cold.
Glad it was only 1 night.

We had a very pleasant stay of 3-4 days here, in September.
Our room had a stunning view to the gorgeous terraced garden and to the sea.
The restaurant on the terrace was the perfect spot for a romantic dinner in two.
The sanitary safety measures were respected.
Staff was very friendly

We were group of 15 people and we had a dream holiday at Troy Tusan hotel.

The service provided by the hotel was on high level. Also the hotel's management assist us for a night tour in a city of Chanakkale, the tour to the city of Troy and the museum next to it.

All the services were at the high level, nice and very polite staff.

Strongly recommend!!!

Troia Tusan Hotel is not 4 star rated hotel at all. Close to the local stone beach. Need to be renovated and more strict about noise from restaurant and other visitors of the hotel. Food is enough , but not really impressive or in wide choice.

We time warped into the 1960s and this establishment is at the early end.
Located at a fabulous location but unfortunately it has been let go.
Fitness centre is now filled with washing machines.
The rooms are comfortable but pieces are missing from the walls.
The showers are claustrophobic like being enclosed in a cocoon.
Would be popular in summer and is not cheap to stay here by the prices in reception.
The restaurant is just ok and prices for food and drinks are reasonable.

The rooms are quite small and in need of renovation. Our air conditioner didn’t work properly and the safe was already looked.
We had a group dinner there and there was a heavy downpour which leaked into the restaurant.
On the way back to our room it was still raining and the water gushed down the steps like a waterfall.

To begin with the positive: staff are kind and helpful. But the hotel itself is not that good. It's located in the middle of nowhere. There is a pool and a restaurant, that's it as far as amenities go. It has its own beach, but was locked due to the time of the year I guess, and the beach was filthy anyway. WI-FI only works in the reception area, you won't be able to connect from your room, even though the hotel rooms do not spread out that much. We were in a tour group, once everybody finished their dinner and went back to their room and started shower, the hot water was gone in like 2-3 minutes into the shower. Rooms are decent size, but could afford an update.

We were also on a group tour, but breakfast was provided early on one day when we needed it. The owners wife is English - so why not email her?
