Detailed Reviews
We had an amazing 2 nights stay at the lodge. Ms. Vicky, the owner welcomed us when we arrived and explainded everything to us (shops, restaurants, entrance to Addo). She is an amazing person and goes above and beyond for her customers. She kept us updated about nice foto opportunities in Addo in real time. Thanks to her we saw some lions.
The apartment was spacious, very clean, well maintained and is located in a safe area. Secured parking is also available. The close distance to Addo was very convenient. Definitely a recommendation

A lovely spot: comfortable room with clever furnishings, pretty river frontage and a delicious breakfast. Our host, Aaron, was awesome. He contacted us the day before to keep us in the loop. We will definitely be back.

What a wonderful place to rest before continuing my journey. Aaron is so friendly, helpful and welcoming. It felt like coming home. The room was beautiful with big windows overlooking the river. Loved the breakfast and the service. Forget about the over priced guest houses in the city. This is the place to be.My only regret was that I couldn't stay longer.

We were running late due to a delayed flight by a couple hours but Aaron at Nukakamma was good at communicating and making us feel at ease. The property was easy to find and is on a nice street and has all the usual security features, we felt safe. The ensuite bedroom was comfortable, of a good size, clean and a great view out across the river with a small balcony and seating area. Aaron was a perfect host and looked after us, showing us the public areas and kitchen. He produced a fantastic spread of food at breakfast including a cooked breakfast to order and couldn’t have done more to look after us.The area has a lot to offer, especially with the entrance to Addo being just 5-10 minutes away. We would definitely stay there again.

With the plan to visit the Addo National Park, we stayed over for two nights at Nukakamma and loved every minute. From Vicky's welcome, her tips of where to eat in Colchester and places to visit in the Park, to the high quality of the unit we stayed in - it was an absolute pleasure. Thank you :-)
