Detailed Reviews
We stayed in the luxury tents which were very nice but in my opinion quite overpriced. The venue is on Addo elephant park's doorstep though, so I think the convenience of this may be the reason for the inflated price.
The main negatives were that they did not do housekeeping, we got back from a long day at the Park to a messy room and coffees etc not replenished. We phoned and they did send someone who did the housekeeping for us then and there, though it was at 7pm and we were there so a bit awkward. They blamed COVID and the fact that they aren't sure who is comfortable with people entering their rooms, but at no point did they ask if we wanted housekeeping or not.
The other strange thing was that if you wanted to eat dinner at the restaurant you had to order in advance, say by 2pm, so that was inconvenient. But there are a few other options around town to go eat.
Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

The Lodge is ca.1 km far away from the gate to Addo, which is very comfortable for a Safari. We stayed for 3 nights in a tent. The tent was very nice and it felt a bit like Out of Africa😉 we experienced a great hospitality. The food-exspecially the Kudu Steak-was delicious!!! A very quiet and nice place to stay....😊

The room was comfortable, nice food and well located (just outside Addo Elephant Park, so it's perfect if you travel north - South in the park. Our room was located close to the entry so it was a bit loud (you hear the cars coming in and out). Apart from that, it is a good place

It was the third time I stayed in this lodge and I will stay there again for sure.
The lady in charge went the extra mile to accommodate my son, who is vegan.
On Valentine’s Day they surprised the guests with a lovely and scrumptious breakfast buffer, anything you can think of, I didn’t need lunch this day.
All staff members were very friendly and the accommodation immaculate clean.

We stayed here in August in the Self Catering Cottage.
The place looked great in the photos but it had an air of neglect about it. The rooms smelt very musty and were dusty too. We were tempted to leave.
It must have been out of season as we were the only people there and apart from check in we didnt see any members of staff except one cleaning lady - no one to ask us if all was well and we were enjoying it or needed anything and no obvious sign of anyone on security.
The pool didnt look enticing and the play equipment didn't look overly strong.

I was so pleased to discover Parkview Lodge. I stayed in a luxury tent with a huge outdoor deck, spacious interior with king size bed and a stunning bathroom with bath and shower. Most special was the fabulous service provided by two very helpful ladies, who went out of their way to ensure top quality service including delivery of a delicious Venison Burger. I cannot recommend Parkview highly enough

We had such a brilliant stay at Parkview. The Luxury tents are Luxurious, clean and perfectly positioned for the privacy and feel of the bush. Every one of our wishes was seen to or granted by the lovely Karin who, together with her little team of two, took good care of us. Even having a new fridge delivered on a quad bike at 21h00. The hero's of our stay, however, was the Camel and his two besties, Sheep1 and 2. What a sight to behold. Excellent value for money. PS. omelets were amazing, dinners varied from ok to great, the chips were some of the best we'd tasted. Thank you, Parkview for making our family holiday so enjoyable. Another PS - The venue scores 5/5 for cleanliness however I would have liked a daily tidy-up but maybe should have made this explicit.

A great jewel! Karen and her daughter were stars from the beginning, explaining and helping with the accommodation and things to do in the area. The tent was a great unique experience and so beautifully decorated, a great idea! The evening we had a great meal in the lodge with some members of the local community there as well, which we thought created a great vibe! Again, even at meal times Karen and her daughter go the extra mile for the guests. We will highly recommend to anyone to stay there and come back anyday!

Just outside the Addo South Gate, it’s a pleasant drive from PE. Friendly staff, great food in the restaurant and lovely facilities. Great value if you plan to drive through Addo yourself and want to feel you’re on Safari
