We stayed at the Auberge de la Durdent in the small village of Héricourt-en-Caux, not too far from Le Havre and Rouen - in a really rural setting by the river Durdent. The Auberge is a small establishment with only 7-suites. The suites comprised a living room, bedroom and bathroom - all nicely decorated and spacious. Unfortunately the restaurant was...

Rooms are spacious (they are "suites" - separate bedroom and sitting room) but somehow we didn't feel we were getting value for money. There were the usual signs of neglect like mildew around the bath, thin ageing towels, no pillow case for the spare pillows, no kettle/beverages, stray hairs in the bed... Maybe we are fussy, but we could not...

Stayed in this hotel for two nights and really enjoyed the kind reception,, the nice room and the delicious food. We were advised about the possibilities for visiting near by and that was also worth getting it! Can only advise to go there if there's a chance to.

45 years ago, as a newly wedded couple, we stayed at the auberge de la durdent and we were surprised that it still existed. The rooms have now double the size they had then (one "suite" was made out of two rooms in the past). It is still the same quite and lovely spot and I would reccomend the place...

This hotel is set in the most delightful location, on a river with views over the countryside. The room was very large, with a fabulous bathroom, and a living room as part of the suite. Great sleeping since it was so quiet. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to sample the restaurant's offerings, but sitting along the canal, sipping coffee...

We spent a 4 night break in this hotel. The food is great, the terrace is nice and quite to have breakfast or dinner. Breakfast is served in your room on request. No surcharge. The hotel is an ideal base to discover the surrounding region. Etretat, Honfleur .... all within the one hour reach by car.

We spent a two night break at the Auberge having bought a special deal on a 'deal' website. We went with few high expectations but were very pleasantly surprised. About a year ago the hotel was refurbished, extended and reopened after a three year closure. There are rooms in an annexe over a bridge over the pretty little River Durdent....

I had great expectations after all the reviews I read. So I really was disapointed. We booked from Citydeal, but the discount wasn't really applied as they increased the amount of every extra we ordered .. The food was quite right but too expensive. A 60 € menu is meant to be great. We've stayed in better places. The manager...

we are a family of four , two adults and two children aged 7 & 11, we booked a two room suite that had a large bedroom with comfortable king sized bed and a fair sized lounge with wall mounted flat screen TV and large quality sofa bed. The bathroom was well appointed with glass sink, WC and whirlpool bath...

This was an overnight stop and what a great place to stay. Set on the river in a quiet village. The room was huge with a double bed and a large sofa bed for the kids and a whirlpool bath. Guest had access to the outside spa and white fluffy dressing gowns were provided as well as towels. The Room...
