A wonderful villa set in a beautiful garden. We had a lovely room with a huge bathroom. The house has been recently renovated. Comfortable and quiet. Breakfast included. All at a very good price. Walking distance to restaurants. They do not accept credit cards!

Fantastic rooms, huge bathrooms, charming owner. I think I never had such a deep and quiet sleep as in La Chartreuse. Beautiful building with an extraordinary history. Romantic garden. Small pets allowed. Simple French breakfast but healthy and sufficient.

We only stayed here one night but would have liked to stayed longer. Our room was more like a suite and decorated beautifully. The owners had only bought it 2yrs previously and transformed it into a beautiful chateau. They have very clever and careful with every detail. An absolute pleasure and joy to have stayed here.

Staying at "La Chartreuse Des Eyres" was one of the highlights of our trip. The "petit chateau" was very beautifully renovated mixing modern and classic styles. Even though they were busy...

It was a record not day, with temps in the high 30s, and the owner, Valerie, kindly upgraded us to a suite, that would be cooler...

place is just fine if you look for something that somehow recalls the typical local atmosphere of a chateau... Too bad that it is all quite "fake" compared to some very nice chateaux you can find in the surroundings. The rooms are clean and new, but definetly overpriced for what is given. We paid 115 euro cash-no receipt- for a...
