We stayed here for four nights, two of which we met up with my brother and sister in law. We had the Clothilde Suite they had Madeleine. Madame Dulong was welcoming and accommodating from the first email and throughout our stay. The rooms are renovated to a charming standard without losing the era of the Chateau. The dining room at...

The owner madame Sylvie is extremely gentle and nice. We wanted to experience a night in a real chateau but didn't want go too far from the city. I choose the room on their website and i in fact got it as requested. The chateau is in the middle of a vineyard. We discovered later that the chateau produces its...

This chateau is right between Bordeaux and the charming village of St. Emilion. It is a small chateau, which the delightful owner, Silvie Dulong, is glad to show you, and she has turned her family home, which has housed 3 generations, into a charming bed and breakfast with 4 gorgeous guest rooms. There is a pool for relaxing. It's a...

My husband and I had an absolutely delightful two night stay at Chateau Lavergne-Dulong. The chateau is beautiful and the bedrooms have recently been renovated to a high standard. We stayed in the Clothilde suite. The two room suite is nicely decorated, the bed comfortable and the bathroom is as nicely done as any luxury property in which we have...

We only stayed for one night and i wish we could have stayed for longer! The Chateau is beautiful and has been redecorated in a beautiful style with everything very well thought through. Dinner in was delicious but did put our french to the test slightly eating with the hostess and another couple (Belgian). While there we enjoyed a relaxing...

Chateau Lavergne-Dulong is a true gem. I am conflicted in writing this review. I would love to keep Chateau Lavergne-Dulong as our little "secret", that special place that only a few people have experienced. That is not reality. When we booked our stay we had read only a handful of reviews and we were hopeful that everything was as it...

This charming B&B is an ideal place to stay if you are exploring the wine regions of Bordeaux. The rooms are charming and stylish and Sylvie is a perfect host. In addition to the B&B side of things Sylvie also offers dinners which we took up and was very much worth it. Her classic French home cookery style is simply...

This was a fantastic find for us on our way back from south west France and stayed for 3 nights. The location and appointment of the rooms was first class and Sylvia’s hospitality was superb. The tour of the organic vineyard was fascinating. We had a most enjoyable evening meal with some of the other guests which included Sylvia's gorgeous...

My French partner and I stayed 2 nights here in the room Leontine. It was very tastefully designed with comfortable bedding and adequate bathing accessories (although it could be better if they had provided shower cap). We slept very well at night with the windows opened. Breakfast is tartine, croissant, cereals, fresh fruits, served coffee and tea. Sylvie, the proprietor,...

It seems a cliche to say that this place is (in our books) an entirely a 5* place, but from the moment we arrived the exceptional hospitality won us over. The location is slightly off the beaten track but has excellent links to Bordeaux and the rest of the wine region. We stayed for 2 nights and wish it was...
