It's late in the day and we're tired. We've been cycling along the Velodysse for most of the day with our 1 year old daughter in tow and have just completed around 70kms. All we wanted to do was relax, put our feet up for a few moments and then go and explore the area. When we arrived at Hotel...

we booked two rooms for our family and stayed one week in July. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice, clean and calm. The area of the hotel offers a relaxed breakfast and a pleasant stay in the evening.

We stayed for one night en route home from Spain. A little hard to find. Check in was really friendly, the rooms all themed 'the Beach' everything you need, great bathroom but the rooms were small. The hotel is not luxurious but it has very friendly and accommodating staff and it is very reasonably priced. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Stayed for one night having arrived at Bordeaux airport which is not too far away. Close to coast. Spacious accommodation with two bedrooms for the three of us and we enjoyed a very nice meal at the restaurant.

I spent two nights at the Oceana in April. This was a quiet hotel which I found really good value. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very relaxed and the food in the restaurant was extremely good. The location is good for the Arcachon basin and not far from Bordeaux nor the Medoc wine region....

Although just a couple we booked the three bed downstairs room mentioned in a previous report and found it adequate for two people. (Beware French double bed sizes!) Bike racks outside and a large garden with seating areas to relax in. There was just a hint of a Mr. B. Fawlty in the reception chap, unintentionally rude one minute, being...

We stayed at Hotel Oceana for one night before we met some friends for a weeks holiday. We drove from Bordeaux which took about an hour and a half. A little hard to find but what a little gem! Check in was really friendly and they spoke English even though I used my best school girl French. We had the...

The location of this hotel is close to the beach (well, the basin, which is very sandy when the tide is out), and it is nice and quiet. There is a pharmacy across the road, a boulangerie, and a small convenience store within easy walking distance, however only 1 small bar, which did not appear to open after 3pm! The...
