During a stay at the Crusoe hotel we popped in to this quaint little pub after walking the dog. It was warm and welcoming on a cold night, staff were very friendly and were obviously dog lovers. We had a wee drink and the dog was given some biscuits. I assumed most people were locals as it was outwith holiday...

Whilst staying at the other local hotel, liked the look of the Railway Inn and called in for a drink, we were so glad we did. A great atmosphere was felt as soon as you walked through the door, roaring fire and a friendly welcome. Unfortunately we had eaten but next time will definitely eat there, the hotel next door...

A welcoming cosy pub in a village. Spanish lessons on a Tuesday and quiz night on a Thursday. Lively atmosphere with friendly locals and visitors. Good real ales and gin cocktails. Beer garden in th he back. No juke box, guess, just good old fashion banter.

Great 👍 place, they always make us so welcome. Fab beer 🍻 and the toasties are great, as are the pies. A traditional Inn loved by the locals. We are always relaxed when we visit. Looking forward to going back soon😍.

Lovely little village local with friendly bar staff. Four ales on when we visited; two I tried were spot on. The atmosphere even on a quiet Monday evening was warm and welcoming. Certainly a nice place to head to have a drink, watch sport or simply chat with friends.

This is a very friendly pub, including dog friendly, with a great selection of beer and also local gins if you like gin. A good crowd on a Friday evening. When we went into the overflow darts area one of the staff came out to put the heater on to make sure we were warm enough. Lovely!

We visited the Railway Inn on three evenings 3 to 5 October. The website listed 5 real ales and we were not disappointed, all 5 were available and fantastic and very well kept. The bar staff were absolutely fantastic and the pub, quaint and very friendly. This is how a pub should still be, local customers seem to meet up...

Visited a few times during a week in Lower Largo - found it hard to fault the place. They do not do food as such but do have a limited selection of toasties at lunchtime.... Good prices, WiFi and Dog friendly to boot Its a shame I could come here more often as one of my dogs is slightly reactive...

Have visited several times and can honestly say that this is one of my favourite pubs. Great drinks selection, particularly good beer selection. Staff and locals always friendly. Also very dog friendly.
