We chanced upon this because there was nowhere to park in Lyon Le Foret. (Not unusual) We were fortunate enough to sit in the garden again. Madame and I assume her family make the required effort without going over the top. So, genuine French Style. Food is above average, beautifully presented and good value. Good choice of starters mains and...

Stayed at this Logis Hotel en route to Monet's garden. The room was comfortable and the restaurant was top rated by Logis for Normandy. We were somewhat disappointed with the food, and especially the sparse breakfast. Staff had no grasp of English and didn't even try. Would miss out next time.....

This modest hotel may not look much from the outside, but inside you get the warmest of welcomes from M et Mme Hollain. We ate a very good home-cooked lunch and our continental breakfast included home-made apple preserve. Our hosts could not have been more helpful or attentive. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean and the bed had crisp, cool sheets.

Writing this review, I really don't know where to start. So I'll tell our experience as a story and let anyone that reads this make their own mind up. We arrived at this hotel after a long drive north from the Dordogne. We'd had a bit of a problem with the Logis website...probably our fault but instead of two rooms...

Having given an estimated arrival time of 5pm when we booked the hotel on the Logis website, we were surprised to find it closed when we arrived at that time. There was no notice on the door but there was a clue that it would open as there was a bag of bread hanging on the door handle. After a...

We were looking for a place reasonably close to Giverny that would provide a comfortable stopover en route from England. We had an early start from Devon and this hotel, while not glamorous, fulfilled the criteria to a tee. It is easy to find in a small village some 25km or so from Rouen. The welcome was warm and efficient,...

We appeared to be the only people staying at the hotel but despite this we were welcome and enjoyed a pleasant evening ;meal. Our room in the annexe was larger than we usually expect and very comfortable with an excellent en suite shower room. Breakfast was the usual french breakfast but with the addition of home made jam and apple...

Tucked away in the heart of the Normandy countryside this makes a good stress free stopover. The rooms are in a modern annexe, not exciting but clean and large and very peaceful. The dinner is good (we went half board) and breakfast ok.

We have just stayed here for the third time in 12 months; we travel from the UK with our 3 dogs to the SW of France. The room is clean recently redecorated with comfortable bed and very adequate shower room on the ground floor of a modern annex. The dogs enjoy the run of the orchard when they arrive to...

Peaceful, clean, hotel. Staff very friendly (not much English spoken) and rooms comfortable and large. Very good restaurant. All in all a perfect combination.
