Booked this for a weekend getaway with golf. Not disappointed in anyway. Quaint Cornish hotel, simple and well executed, but really done well. Over looking the sea in a small cove. Very quiet in February. It is not a Marriott or similar but a fantastic rustic place. Food is well delivered, menu is really varied and well thought out, with...

As 5 ladies we contacted the hotel to see if we could organise a package for my mum's birthday that would involve a nice lunch and spa treatments. We were offered a deal for £85 to include £60 worth of treatments with sandwiches and cream tea, which we thought sounded reasonable. We also booked 2 nights bed and breakfast. The...

We stayed here for 3 nights for get away for my Fiance's birthday. The whole team at the Hotel were fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble. When we arrived the weather was awful but the views were amazing of the beach. The hotel is on top of the cliff so is in a wonderful position and has a really...

The hotel is situated on a clifftop with spectacular view of the bay. We arrived on a stormy day, and the view of the waves from our room was fantastic. The hotel is full of old fashioned character, one could say it needs updating, but this did not detract from the comfort of our stay or the friendliness of the...

The Hotel is in a fabulous location, Perched almost on the edge of a cliff with stunning grounds. There is nothing else around amenity wise and as some of us had traveled by train, no transport as such. The Hotel looks a little tired and the rooms are small but we didn't mind as we were hardly in them. We...

I came for a spa day that was bought for me as a birthday present. The location is great for the beach and I'm sure the views are stunning, but not so much on a wet and windy January day! I was given a warm welcome and taken down to the treatment room. There is a compact gym and the...

This hotel, the building is a grand old lady. However she has a spring in her Step! We stayed in room 11 overlooking the bay. Stunning views. The room was very comfortable well maintained and clean. We dined every evening, the meals were superbly presented and most agreeable. This hotel is off the beaten track, there is plenty to see...

A group of 30+, we enjoyed a wonderful meal, served in elegant surroundings by well trained staff. Even the Brussel Sprouts were done to perfection - no small achievement! The service was excellent, the welcome - and indeed the hotel iself - was warm and encouraging on a cold January night. All in all a great experience at around £17...

Comfortable hotel. Don't come if you're expecting luxury though. This is a home from home place - somewhere you can feel immediately comfortable and able to relax - provided what you like are long walks with the hound, spectacular cliff top scenery, good food and wine, a nice bar and for the staff to know who you are. Sure the...
