We spent ages trying to find a decent B & B in Kent and were delighted when we came across The Old Vicarage. It fitted all our criteria especially it's location in a quiet area away from traffic and other noise. The room we chose was the tack room which has the advantage of having a very well equipped kitchen...

Not easy to find, especially for continental driver scared by the narrow roads and fully concentrated on driving on the left side :-), but it is worth of visit, and not only one. The hotel is beautiful, you can stay either in the main building, or in two small houses wit equipped kitchenette next to the hotel. But breakfast served...

We stayed two nights at the Old Vicarage while vacationing in the UK from the States. We were in the area to go to the half day Falconry experience at the Hawking Centre next door. Being this close certainly added to the overall great experience of the day. We had a wonderful breakfast, then walked across the field to the...

We were here for the 4th time. It is so great, it cannot be better for us. Claire and Nick are awesome people, they do their utmost to please their guests. Feels like coming home for us. Do not want to forget Mary Ann, she is also very friendly. All are never to fed up to have a nice talk....

This lovely old house and garden is a relaxing, comfortable, quiet place to stay amongst the North Kent Downs. The breakfast is excellent and the welcome friendly and hospitable, especially the cake. In all a delightful place to stay though some way from places you may wish to visit.

My husband and I are doing an extended trip around Europe, and the Old Vicarage has already been a highlight of our trip in the UK. The location is absolutely beautiful (rural/countryside), and the grounds are very lovely with sheep and gardens right next door. The church across the path is also amazing. We had a very sizable double room...

I needed to stay in Kent while on a course. I was delighted to find The Old Vicarage with such a high rating, for a very reasonable price. I had a warm welcome from Claire and Nick. The Old Vicarage was a beautiful building that was clearly sympathetically and lovingly maintained. I stayed in the Coach House which was ideal...

My wife and I had a very nice overnight stay at the Old Vicarage. The house is lovely and Nick and Clare were very welcoming (as were Biscuit and Lola). Our room was spacious, immaculate and quiet with an en-suite bathroom with a big roll top bath. We also had a second bedroom (which we didn't use) but it would...

A lovely warm welcome from Clare and Nick awaited us, along with a cup of tea and a lovely slice of homemade cake that was truly delicious. The 'Valley' room was spacious with all necessities for a very relaxing stay provided. Far reaching views from the windows of the room can be enjoyed from quite possibly the most comfortable bed...
