We were welcomed by a lovely young lady who was very helpful. Our room was on the top floor and a little warm but we had a big fan to help cool the room bathroom was well equipped and the room was very nice. We had tea in the restaurant which was very nice well cooked and presented. We had...

Hi Julie I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and that nearly everything was perfect. It's always such a shame, though, when we don't get one little area quite right, so I will have a chat with the restaurant team to see what when wrong with the order of service of afternoon teas. Hopefully, by your next stay...

I was not going to write this review as it might encourage you to go - so I would struggle to book again - but it would be unfair!! The grounds are wonderful. The staff superb. The welcome sincere. A lovely setting. Our room was excellent, nicely appointed and nothing was too much trouble for all the staff - they...

A pleasant stay whilst on attending a course locally. The room was comfortable and well-equipped for my stay with a fan provided which was essential as it was the hottest day of the year so far. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and being able to have dinner outside on the first night was a treat. The food was...

We stayed two nights in an 'executive room' - very small room for the extra we paid and it was supposed to be overlooking the gardens, I wouldn't call it that, more like roof view. Room not like the photo from the websites. Also, it seemed to be missing a coffee table from in front on the sofa, or why...

Hi Hannah Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, it's much appreciated. It sounds like we really weren't your cup of tea, which is such a shame, as we do our very best to make sure that the style of the hotel is clearly explained on our website. The quirky rooflines are visible from room 16, it's true,...

My wife and I booked two nights (Sunday and Monday) at the hotel for a relaxing break from the stresses of life, and this we certainly got. The hotel is easily reached (just off the M53), but located down country lanes therefore all you hear is birdsong rather than traffic. The hotels is set in acres of grounds ranging from...

Me and the Mrs went away for a nice weekend, grounds were charming and the room was characterful and well stocked. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant with good old fashioned, friendly service. Only downside is that every weekend there is bound to be a wedding, however I thought it added to its charm. Go on treat yourself.

We were treated by friends to afternoon tea at this lovely hotel. We were greeted in a very welcoming manner by staff and taken to a table of our choice outside on a large terrace with wonderful views over the gardens.
