We visited the hotel on Friday last week. We booked the spa day through wowcher and couldn't be more impressed, total value for money, the facilities were great, massage and facial were also amazing and so was the afternoon tea! We also opted to stay overnight and the hotel was also lovely, very large comfy beds, food in the hotel...

Stayed for a couple of nights. Bedrooms are a great size, very comfortable and beds are good. Bar and breakfast area are fine, food is good and reasonable, given all hotels are pricey. Showers are bit of let down, pressure could be better but overall a great stay as usual. Service is also good, although check in at times can...

Super rooms, proper beds for children in a family room. Lovely pool with sauna and steam room but no jacuzzi. Adult section if the pool roped off for swimming lengths. Very helpful staff. Cooked to order breakfast plus buffet continental style. Evening meals from a variety of menus were of a high standard. Restaurant Service varied, one night efficient the...

Stayed at the Craxton Wood Hotel for one night on an Dinner Bed and Breakfast offer. The hotel has a good location set well back from the road in its own grounds and is around six miles outside Chester. Firstly the staff were so friendly, polite and helpful I can only say all those we met deserve a pay rise....

Overall I was very impressed with the hotel and it's facilities; the rooms are excellent, very warm and spacious and the grounds are lovely and very relaxing. The conservatory in particular where you have breakfast is very impressive and welcoming. I found the staff very helpful and...

Here for a few days on business, rooms a good size, clean and tidy- decor a bit older but not shabby. Food in the restaurant and in the bar both worth a try. Afternoon tea looked great too but didn't try this. Close to Chester and surrounding motorway links. Staff are all really friendly and helpful. Special mentions to Tom...
