The 5-star Golfo dei Poeti Relais & Spa is where the three elements that are the essence of the vision of hospitality come together. The three-storey building looks out over the sea and was designed to blend seamlessly into the landscape. Protected by vegetation, it adapts itself perfectly to the slope over Punta Corvo beach, beautifully following the cliff’s lines and nature with a hanging garden on the second level. The Golfo dei Poeti Relais & Spa sits on three hectares of terraced land typical of Liguria, there is water, electricity and Wi-fi everywhere, there are chaise lounges and umbrellas under which to relax. It’s a place in which to enjoy sheer comfort and silence as you rediscover the joys of times past, time for wellness and treatments, for forgotten pleasures and complete rest. It’s the ideal time for poetic inspiration.

The location is splendid, the panorama is beautiful, especially at sunset. The outdoor areas are well-kept and clean, like the room, equipped with everything, including a bag for the pool, slippers for the outside and slippers for the room. The Spa is small, but well maintained with very good operators, we took advantage of the massage in the gazebo outside, an experience that I recommend, and a truly pleasant massage inside the Spa. The cuisine is truly excellent, with very fresh and perfectly prepared raw materials. The very rich breakfast, both sweet and savory, can be ordered included in the price, hot dishes such as eggs, fresh toast etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are many services offered, just ask at reception. The very rich "Golden Hour" aperitif is an experience worth trying. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend it.

we went with my wife for two special occasions (birthday 81 and wedding anniversary 50 years) at the suggestion of our son who had been there last year. experience to live more than to tell, the place is unique, the exceptional welcome (we felt at home discreetly) the professional staff and attentive to even small things, the perfect cleanliness, the top restaurant, the cozy spa and then the bill that responds to what was said. try to believe, I am a serial Traveler and I feel like certifying what was said R. One of the finest experiences we have had at any hotel ever and we have stayed at some of the best ones in the world. This gem of a boutique hotel is located on a beautiful spot in Liguria overlooking the ocean. We have never had rooms with views as good as the one we got at this hotel.
We went toward the end of the season, and the hotel was not crowded at all. The service because of this was magical. Every member of the staff was gracious, helpful, and kind, and made sure that every desire or request, from room service, to reservations at the spa were accommodated to perfection.
We came at night when the view was nonexistent and initially was underwhelmed by the room (it is charming and rustic), but have grown to love the space and have felt extremely comfortable here. I would love to be able to control the thermostat myself from within the room, as we didn’t want to have to call the front desk for something as minimal as to turn the temperature one degree up or down, but they happily helped us out when we needed them.
The outdoor jacuzzi and sauna (for reservation only) was beautiful and amazing, and their reservation system ensured privacy for the guests using it. It was genius! We also went to their indoor spa section which had steam rooms, aromatherapy rooms, saunas, and a relaxation room. This was reservation only as well which ensured privacy for us when it was our time. I’ve never seen facilities like this reserved just for a couple.
The restaurant at this hotel is truly excellent, much better than anything we’ve had in Amalfi or Como. During the three times we ate there, we tried everything on the menu and it was all delicious. I would recommend to the kitchen to have a slightly different rotating menu during the week so that guests who want to stay on the property to eat have a bit of variety.
They explained quite well, but the parking is about a 5 minute walk / 2 minute electric cart ride away from the resort, and we had a bit of trouble finding the secured parking area when we first arrived (at 11:30 PM the first night)
Shout out to all of the staff, but especially Filippo, who was a gentle giant who was a jack of all trades and was seemingly everywhere all at once. He drove the golf cart, helped us with our bags, helped move furniture and things around the property, answered the phones after hours, and we even saw him in the kitchen helping the chef make food for us! Truly incredible!
Thank you for the warm hospitality and the memorable stay. I am sure we will be back.

I'm still not sure why this hotel has 5 stars! By Swiss standards, I would give it 2 or 3 stars at most. I had a double room for sole use and slept excellently. The view of the Gulf was beautiful. But: Upon arrival, the car had to be parked further up in a separate private space. You were then picked up by a vehicle that consists of a converted Vespa and is electrically powered. The driver sits alone in the front and there is a bench behind it for 2 passengers and some space for luggage. Then you go down a narrow path full of potholes to the hotel. Just getting on this vehicle is almost impossible for disabled people. There is a lift in the hotel, but it is an adventure to ride it. We got stuck several times. You have to be extremely careful not to accidentally touch one of the two open sides! In fact, this lift only has 2 closed sides! Otherwise, there were always some kind of error message (door not closed, even though it was closed!). An absolute NOGO for a 5* hotel! The breakfast buffet did not deserve the name, it was so sparse! And not already plundered by other guests, but from the very beginning!- The fact that a socket in the room was "wobbling" and the toilet flush in the bathroom was not properly attached are things that are known in Italy...but NOT in a 5* hotel! Conclusion: WAY too expensive, cozy (i.e. very slow) service, absolutely unsuitable for disabled people and claustrophobics. Not recommended!! I have to say that we were there in September 2022; unfortunately I couldn't enter that date. But I still think my experience is important! Levels

• Location: Stunning location with beautiful views from most rooms and common areas. • Peaceful Environment: Very tranquil as the hotel is not accessible by car. • Responsive Staff: Hotel staff are very responsive via email, ensuring smooth arrival and providing useful information. • Breakfast Buffet: Good spread for breakfast, although lacking some vegetables or salad.
Cons:
• Room Layout: The bathroom is cramped for two people. • Electrical Sockets: Limited accessible electrical sockets, with none by the desk. • Noisy AC: The air conditioning system in the room is quite noisy. • Coffee and Eggs: Coffee was below average for an establishment of this category, and the scrambled eggs were overly salty.

Unique view, Michelin star restaurant (compliments to the chef and his team). The hotel, however, gets lost in banality. The pre-arrival communication is confusing (they send you emails about an app that doesn't exist, they have to send you restaurant menus because they aren't available on the site, I received 8 emails including apologies and requests!), the wi-fi is terrible and only you have 3 access licenses available (incredible in 2024 in a 5 star hotel!), the internal spa is tiny and not very functional, the staff didn't know if we could have lunch when we arrived at 2.00pm... With a minimum of effort the hotel would have no equal, given that the view is spectacular and the cuisine is the best in the area.

My review is not on the quality of the restaurant, the food or the hotel but for the unusual request in response to a reservation request for a dinner at the restaurant. In recent days my wife called the place to book a dinner with friends, there should have been 6 of us, however the reservations clerk, in order to book, asked for 50% of the amount of the aperitif in advance by bank transfer ... The amount would have been €300 (€50*6) he asked her to make a bank transfer of €150 in advance as payment upon booking, obviously she refused and we went to another excellent restaurant. I understand that some rude person may have booked and then not shown up, I think this has happened to all restaurants, however it is the first time it has happened to us. We will try again when the rules change.... Good work.

Very nice location in the countryside with breathtaking views. I went to a bachelorette party with spa and aperitif. Spa too small to book, small pool with too hot water. The whirlpool must be booked, too bad that in our schedule was busy, around you do not find any of the staff and I had to go to reception where the Reservation was not. After finding her we went to the hot tub where the water was boiling. Then we had an aperitif with watered down cocktails and three non-existent finger food that didn't even reach the stomach since I was small .. Better to avoid this overpriced place €110

Beautiful relais surrounded by nature but overlooking the Gulf of Poets, absolutely quiet and restful. Reachable only by Apecar that shuttles between reserved parking and Relais (about 400 meters) Fabulous pools, absolute tranquility, very kind staff, also available indoor SPA. Fabulous breakfast A la carte restaurants or tastings; we chose the tasting on a table overlooking the gulf at sunset. Insuperabile!! Try it at least once in a lifetime

It was supposed to be a high-end night. With my fault mindful of a visit made last year, we decided to book this place in light of the wonderful past experience. ERROR!!!!!!!!!!!!! arrived around 20 we sat down and headed to the buffet as provided for in the golden hour program. First pass waiting for the refil that never happened. After a wait of about 25 min the staff brought us menus. After as many minutes the command was finally taken: first, second as the menu suggested. After about 15 minutes of new waiting arrive the first definitely below expectations. After a 47-minute wait, the seconds arrived; for almost everyone ( 6 out of 7 ) a fry consisting of empty shrimp heads and some shrimps that still had their intestines clearly visible inside. Result: inedible To emphasize that the wait was 'enlivened' by a wasp or hornet 'hunt' with an insecticide spray directly from diners near our table.... The final cherry to the choice of dessert that provided two options we were told that there were only two portions of one .... so ..... adapt. This is the story of our evening that began with great expectations ended with great anger. Definitely a bad night! Recommendation to everyone to avoid this place that boasting the famous 5 stars was not up to both service and quality of food to say the least poor in both cases. Final considerations: the stars boasted by the location if they referred to the truly beautiful view are deserved! For food service you don't even get, as an old advertisement said," to the worst bars in Karacas"
