Off Camino but they pick you up when you call and drop off the next morning. Dinner was good and included wine - lovely salad and a dish of Sena, which are wild mushrooms, which was an extra treat. This Casa offers a little choice for dinner rather than just a preordained meal. Wife speaks a little English and seems...

Quirky and nice spot to stay. Had to be picked up as its not actually on the Northern Way. Isolated spot so if you want something to eat be wary as only breakfast & dinner served...no.lunch if you arrive in afternoon. Big fire lit in living area which was really cosy & welcoming. No choice at dinner but food was...

Not on Camino route but free shuttle provided from Pedrouzo/O Pino, 10 min drive. Very attractive room in rural rustic style with huge bright ensuite. Double and single bed in large room but dark as only a roof window. Toiletries provided. Linen fresh and crisp, towels also. All very clean. Courtyard outside room was lovely to relax in while having...

The positives are that the staff will pick you up in town and drop you off at the trail and the room was clean. The downside is that the inn doesn't serve lunch or dinner and there are no restaurants around the inn. As they told me on the phone, they are only for sleeping and breakfast. It is a...

Stayed here after a wet day on the Camino. My tour company had given instructions about where to call from to get the owners to pick me up. It is only a few kms off the Camino but very hard to find. The instructions were useless, as was my Spanish. A fellow peregrino used my phone to speak to the...

Didn't matter it was off the Camino Way as all you have to do is ring them and they collect you. Delicious dinner. Spacious bedroom and lovely country location. Lovely countryside to walk around also.

I would find it very hard to recommend this place especially if you have poor Spanish. It is quite a bit away from El Camino and very isolated. Stayed in the room that is up the outside wooden steps where there are a table and 2 chairs outside the door overlooking the courtyard... It was an old B&B but did...

Positives: This restored farmhouse has its charm, the rooms are quite spacious and clean and the dining is excellent. Indeed, our dinner was excellent. The owners were also quite helpful and friendly. Negatives: It's basically in the middle of nowhere. The sleepy hamlet of Rua is a 5-minute drive away. For many, this could be a plus but to me,...

I have stayed at many a B&B, but I have to say that Casa Calvo is one of the best. A couple of kilometers off the Camino (don't worry the owner will pick you up, although we walked it), it is a beautiful old home in the heart of the tiny hamlet of O Pino, about 25km from Santiago. We...
