We recently stayed for two nights (in the Keyes rooms) and it was a lovely place to stay. The house is gorgeous and the room was wonderful. The hosts, Lorraine and Gavin, could not be nicer and had loads of tips and recommendations for the area and Kent in general - they were so lovely, really wonderful people. Cannot recommend... More

Not sure how much I can say that has not already been said on these reviews. The property is simply stunning (ask Gavin for explanations about its history), the village is a lovely, quiet haven of peace, breakfast was great (homemade jam, local & fresh products, etc...). Lorraine & Gavin are just so nice, helpful and arranging that we felt... More

This was our second visit to The Old Inn. It was just as beautiful as we remembered. As soon as we arrived Lorriane made us gorgeous tea cakes and tea in front of the roaring fire. Gav and Lorraine are two of the kindest, most generous people you could meet and looked after us like royalty during our stay. Lorraine made... More

Stayed at the Old Inn for a short break during February - it is great!. We were greeted by Gavin on arrival and were delighted to be offered a hot drink and a toasted teacake. The Old Inn is full of interesting history which we were keen to learn about. We immediately felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble.... More

Stayed at the Old Inn for 2 nights while exploring the surrounding area. The Old Inn is full of character, beautifully furnished, and the breakfast alone was worth the trip down from London. A quintessentially English place, to slow down and enjoy life.

We loved this place. Completely gorgeous house, truly great and hilarious hosts, gold rated, delicious breakfast (which we enjoyed for 1.5 hours - nothing is hurried here) and fantastic location with plenty of lovely walks and wonderful Rye and vineyards just down the road. Cannot recommend this place enough!

What a great place to stay ! really friendly welcome (they couldn't have been more helpful) quiet, beautifully restored and really quaint. My boyfriend and I decided we needed to escape London for a weekend, relax and slow down so headed into Kent to stay for two nights at the utterly charming and idyllic B&B in the rural village of Wittersham. Lorraine and Gavin are the wonderful hosts, in fact they took such care of us it was like staying with family!... More

We only spent one night here but we were immediately making plans to return in the summer. We bought wine from a local store and on returning from our meal out it was waiting for us chilled in... More
